Mount nerfs

Last year, they swapped Rapid Maneuver with Vigor, so it was harder to get. This year, they removed Major Gallop from Rapid Maneuver. Will next year see out horses get their legs broken? Or will mounting make your horse climb on your character's back, whipping you while you move at walking speed banging together a pair of coconut shells.

On a side note, Who else would like to see a mount that's you prancing at mount speed while your squire bangs coconut shells, Monty Python style?

Major Gallop as a passive is the greatest change this game has ever seen.

my mount is faster than ever with passive and green speed skills slotted.

more so than collections and not needing to refarm ad nauseum ( for alts or zos changed a previously lackluster set into sth decent) or hop through the pass through bank hoop for alts?

    or retraiting with transmutes? 😇

Someone didn't read the notes nor paid enough attention 😂😂

Gallop is passive now. Easily one of the Best changes this game has done.

Although I welcome the change - is a nice QoL improvement for me - this above has been so far the greatest change for me.

I was getting crushed and asphyxiated under the sheer weight of inventory management.

When I saw the patch notes about major gallop being moved to a passive (and the first one to unlock to boot) I thought 'well that is uncharacteristically nice of them' and in turn I'm trying real hard here to not be cynical about it.

However when the 'sticker book' came to be and finally light started shining through the now slowly vanishing mountain of equipment I had been buried under this was... something else.

I didn't even slot green skills, just the passive from Assault and I already think my 60/60/60 mount is too fast. It's kinda ridiculous. =D

Agree it is pretty awesome. Now they just need to add some reliable sources of meaningful transmute stone quantities for people who don't enjoy the tedium and rage of PVP.

I don't care what the answer is, I just loved this post. Got the best belly laugh out of it for days. The mind picture it created will stay with me for days.

You need the novelty stick mount, but you will have to supply your own coconuts. Maybe if we can find some coconuts and give to our future companion....

I'm curious to know is there a possibility to stress the server thus limiting game performance again with every player having an increase in speed both mounted and unmounted?

LOL... yeah it's much more awesome than having it cost 1 skill point and never be on the bar yet always right there waiting (almost as it it were already a... hmmm... passive skill combined with minor.. but now you still get to spend that very same skill point just to break even on minor and major... BUT NOW you get to spend Champ points for something you have never had to before at a time when you need champ points just slightly less than stupid junk like Oxygen. I agree wholeheartedly this is the BEST thing to come out of an inane patch that firmly secures those rails under these feets of ours.

Mind you, in my case I stopped reading their patch notes sometime around 2016 - give or take. I also stopped being concerned over this kind of stuff since the solution for fixing it is always right there on hand.

ZOS has caused ESO to become liken unto weather in Missouri - Don't like it? Not a problem - stick around a couple months it will change.

I really hope that all of you painfully eager to lash out at anything and/or anyone who does not comply with your rail system also possess some level of humor.. a dab of sarcasm with just a tiny pinch of our ever wise LIFE COACH guru Tommy Chong and you can tell that "DAVE?... Nah man Dave's not here" time has happened and the server down 3 of 5 days event ZOS is holding has done nothing more than prompted a healthy smegging dose of dry ice.. now you see it.. most of you won't humor.

Feel free to comment as you normally would but keep in mind that I am become death has been here and gone and won't ever see this thread or comments in this lifetime.

I am off to play a real game. <<<<UH>>>> Hello kitty online is free to play right? My mommy has put her foot down on my 6th ESO account 17 toons on the 4 oldest accounts from Nov 2013 when I registered. Someone had to type for me I was only 6 years old in 2013 but you guys understand these things I can tell by the always present level of merciful, honest, and kindness that ebbs from each post.

Man, I am bored guys... are we there yet?

I don't like PvP; I have tried it, and I have tried hard to like it, I just don't.

Therefore I begrudgingly do the absolute bare minimum to get my '50 stones x however many characters I can muster the will to do it with' a month.

10 Transmute Crystals per day per character for one quick random normal dungeon isn't enough for you? Unless you stay away from daily random dungeons entirely (which also deprives you of a ton of easy XP), you won't miss those 50 PvP-sourced crystals per month.

'Quick'. I guess your mileage will vary; for me 'random normal dungeon' and 'quick' don't really go together.

Maybe if I had mostly tanks, or healers, or I was willing to fake either of those for the purpose of the queue.

I can do at least two rounds of BG before the queue will even blink at me.

EDIT: Full disclosure, I haven't tried since the patch hit. Maybe now that gaining XP is back on the menu the queue is a breeze.

You will be thrilled to hear that in order to unlock continuous attack, you only need to complete the two introductory quests.
I could be wrong, but I think they increased the amount of AP you get for these two quest just high enough to unlock rank 3!

I find that very mindful of the devs. 😁

The last queues as DDs for me were all 2 to 3 minutes long. I am not kidding!
I get 50 TmCrystals in one hour, with 5 chars doing random normals each day.

    Again, not kidding.

I already have at least 'liutenant' on all my 18 characters.

The fact that I don't like it doesn't excuse me from doing it.

This is not a game right, this is a job?

EDIT: Once I'm done 'retooling' all my characters and picking up all those surveys I have been saving due to the new passives I will give random dungeon another go. Thanks for the heads up!
