(Oversight) Friends List lets you see who is Set to Offline.

There is a oversight that allows you to see who is set to offline instead of actually offline. If the person is really offline, you can tell as you will not see their location nor cp lvl as seen on the second person on the list, but the third person on the friends list is set to offline, hence you can see their cp and location.

I could be mistaken, but I don't think that's what the difference indicates. My friends list has also been screwy as well since the update.

Some of the "friends" I KNOW for a fact are truly offline (because it's my alt account, for instance), some have not logged in since the update, and some are only appearing offline/online as they see fit. Their status being greyed out with the last character & location they were logged in on --or being completely blank-- seems to come and go, despite appearing or truly being offline.

People I know have not logged in since the update seem to stay totally blank regardless, though.

It's weird.

yeah as already mentioned this isn't about appearing offline, this is just friends and guild lists being messed up. I'm surprised I haven't seen more people talking about this, I'm pretty sure it's a universal issue, everyone I asked confirmed they have it as well

Probably similar to the fact that characters on the login screen show the CP as what it was the last time they were logged in, not the actual CP of the account.

I believe it's just a matter of: the last known location and CP of our friends list were reseted with the update. If they log in, the information is updated, if not, it'll still be blank.

it goes back to blank even for people who've been back since the patch though

Can confirm. Looking over the shoulder of my significant other, my main account is showing as offline (no location data, no CP), my alt account is showing as offline (with location and level.) Both of those accounts are active, but definitely not logged in. Something's bjorked.

Yes, this is weird. Since I am a member of BeamMeUp on both accounts, it's kind of a concern because the whole premise of those guilds is that their members are online.....
