Major gallop gone?

On multiple character I noticed that while I have 2 points in the continuous attack I dont have the major gallop buff on the character.

Edit: It was showing yesterday fine, now today it seems gone.

    There seems to be a UI bug where the buff fails to show but it is still in effect. If you track your actual speed with Fyrakin’s minimap (others may work as well), do you no longer get the speed bonus?

    I also noticed it missing, but I think it's just a display bug with the buff (at least I think my characters were riding faster than normal even today).

    Ive noticed alot of my characters are missing after getting the skill and logging out. also alot of my characters are missing their signs, not just in the buff section but the actual sign buff is gone. but not on all of my characters.

    Major Gallop buff has been moved to the first Alliance passive skill, Continuous attack (if memory serves me). The extra mount speed without Major Gallop comes from the new CP "Gifted Rider" from the "Craft" Tree, however, by itself, this ain't that much, even if maxed.

    Same thing here. First day it was visible on the first character I logged in on, but it has been gone ever since.

    However the speed boost is definitely there.

    Right, but the Major Gallop buff is not always appearing when one has a point in CA. The question is whether that’s a UI bug or actually affecting speed.

    It's a permanent effect. So in Settings, Combat, under combat Buffs & Debuffs enable Permanent Effects. Then you should see it on the UI, but it should always be listed on the character screen active effects.

    On console so not had the drop yet. Am I right in saying mounts have permanent rapids once the Passives are bought?

    If so what's the point to Rapids now? Or it been overhauled?

    It provides movement speed upgrade (to groups as well) , just not mounted speed.

    Be sure to get the mounted speed buff in the champion points, or else somebody will zoom past you and get all the chests and crafting nodes.

    Gold Star. Also I have seen several instances where the UI is not updating properly.
