I think you either didn't read my entire post, or you didn't understand it.Sheezabeast wrote: »You know you can turn down the in game music in the audio settings, right? This is literally a non-issue.
Even then it's not quite on par. You can mod TW3's music heavily to customize when it plays or even to stop combat music entirely, there weren't as many trivial fights, and it ended almost straight away after combat finished, which would immediately transition back into the zone music. ESO's combat music lasts a hell of a lot longer, can't be modded out, and can take ages to fade out the combat music and restart the ambient soundtrack. Plus TW3's combat music is just better.YandereGirlfriend wrote: »At least it's not the Witcher 3's combat music.
It was awesome at first but quickly became a meme.
There isn't even an addon that can do it. The closest you can get is one that automatically drops music volume to zero when you enter combat, which doesn't fix the issue of the game's soundtrack being interrupted, but at least means you don't have to listen to those bloody drums again.Versispellis wrote: »You don't love PLINKY PLINK DINKITY DONK every time a wolf looks at you?
I agree completely. Before anyone says add-ons: console.

When the game first launched, there was a really epic soundtrack that played while you were launching/loading in characters {you can hear it on youtube "The Elder Scrolls Online - Original Game Soundtrack" April 13 2014} Specifically the first track For Blood, for Glory, for Honor (Jeremy Soule) but it's all fabulous!
OMG soooooo good, brings back great memories of my first times in game with great friends who sadly have stopped playing.
In case the devs are looking at this or take this up as an action item, may I suggest toggle option (allow combat music or not).....it may seem silly, but over the years, I've grown attached to the combat music also. It has certainly saved me many times when I wasn't quite paying attention
Please don't take it away
