Colovian War Torte not working for Battlegrounds?

Is this intended where I have a torte on, and my assault/support skill line xp didn't get the increase like it says it would? Not talking about AP here just to be clear.
For example, in 3rd place when I finish a BG, I still get ~7k XP for my assault/support skill, with or without the torte. It works just fine in Cyro though. Can someone please clarify this?

I have spent millions on torte, thinking it gave me more AP in bgs. Jesus christ XD

Not saying there isn't a bug, but are you using your alliance skill bar to look at the AP or some addon? I don't think the addons show the actual gain, I usually have to do math from the skill bar to see it.

I did some math @Kwoung , it seems like it IS working afterall. Just not the ap gain itself, but AP towards rank. This is so crazy unnecessery complicated.

You don't get extra AP as such, that stays the same. So last night the 80k defence tick I got was 80k AP but 120k towards my alliance rank

This. It’s not the most intuitive thing.
