With Flames of Ambition update bows (ranged weapon) deal more damage than greatswords (melee damage), with light and heavy attacks.
Time to craft and buy 2-handed maces, I guess.

I have no idea and can't do a proper parse on Stadia but just looking at the damage splash numbers bow just does more damage, even though it has less weapon damage on the weapon itself. My guess is the stacking bow passive that increases bow damage (hawk eye) is still a percentage booster, while swords were changed to a flat damage from 8% damage done increase.That annoying dude on PC-EU.0 -
