Can not remove mundus boon.

Since we need to reset our champion points i wanted to start clean, with no mundus boon effect but i guess it can't be removed? I clicked, right clicked, left clicked etc on the boon but it won't move. Yes, i can change it for another one and yes i am able to click off other buffs (food, etc).
