I've had the game freeze up on me several times and people would be somewhere else by time it unfroze. I've had the game boot me out several times after it just stopped working all together. And it feels in general more laggy than before.

✭Your profile says you're on PC. Are you running any add-ons? My FPS was an absolute slide show on lowest settings, then I disabled all my add-ons and it's now smooth as butter.
I know I'll be spending an evening going through my add-on list to see what still works.Living vicariously through my characters.

in more intense fights i'm one skill ahead from what is on my screen, and skills not always respond.0 -

I've found the opposite completely, it's seems more responsive and faster loading, it actually seems like the graphics got upgraded but I'm not sure if that's just because it's processing everything better. I even have about 10 addons on so unless it is different on various systems then I don't think it's that. Admittedly I have only done writs mainly but I did jump to a few houses and outside houses to test and went collecting surveys today. Yesterday I did a little of the event and did 2 world bosses and a delve I think. It all seemed OK. I haven't been in a dungeon, trial or Cyrodiil though.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭For a while now the game will freeze for about five seconds on me then kick back in again. I'm thinking that is my internet connection though. Since the update it happens more frequently.
Last night I did have one moment where the game seemed to quit and the little error box popped up telling me to submit a report telling them what I was doing. Was typing in what I was doing and the game started working again. First time that has ever happened.and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."0 -

✭✭✭✭✭I had an issue on PC today-- was trying to catch a butterfly by the Artaeum wayshrine before porting back to Vivec City and was suddenly unable to interact with anything, eventually followed by a disconnect. However, my computer sounded like it was busy chugging away doing something else-- against my wishes-- so I'm not sure if that was the cause. I hate having the computer launch into something CPU- or WiFi-intensive while I'm trying to play, so I always check for updates and run a quick virus scan before beginning a play session.
On the other hand, I've had problems on my MacBook Air since U29-- crashes to desktop, as well as at least one instance of a severe graphical glitch-- so it looks like I might have to give up on playing ESO on it. Oh, well; I was thinking of getting a new Windows laptop, anyway...I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!0 -

✭Crashing. Definitely. They have been completely random too.
Yesterday, I was in a group on the last boss in a dungeon (FG2), my game crashed and when I finally got back in I was still in the dungeon with my group fighting but was disbanded (my group did not vote kick me either). So I had to redo the whole dungeon since I did not get credit for the boss kill.
Today (and this has happened at least 3 times now), I was at the Undaunted Enclave in Grahtwood just typing to others in zone chat and my game froze and crashed. I would assume that part of the issue might be because so many players like to spam their abilities there for entertainment while waiting for dungeons. That may also be why I crashed with my group as well -- too many effects or related to effects -- causing problems due to new updates, etc. Just a speculation.
I should note here however, that every time I actually DID see the debug dialog, which when the previous crashing problems happened it was a straight C2D.
I hate to be constantly tenacious in my negative perception toward ESO, but ZOS, this "AAA game" feels more like a product that has never left beta status. One we are not only paying customers for, but also have good faith on your word that you are going to fix and maintain some sort of reliable standard here. Minor issues and bugs, sure, that is expected but not the major problems that after 7 years and counting we are still having major issues like this time and time again. I don't know what the internal issue is for so long, but I surely hope things will get better.

Kane_Hart✭✭✭No crashes, freeze, or visual lag. I do have some strange maybe ability lag from time to time where I swore I hit the key and it did not happen but I might be spamming too fast or maybe some sort of animation lag?
Outside that the game runs smooth always capped at 100fps.0 -

Yep. This sounds all too familiar the last time random crashing was a problem. Some having major problems, others "it's so pretty and shiny now". I will say though, that for me, the game feels a bit more responsive so there's that.

✭Had a few crashes at random. Thee is sometimes a lot of visual lag that I didn't have before particularly on high intensity stuff like Alik'r dolmens as the boss dies. Better than U27 was certainly.
