After 2300+ Hours Playing ESO it is Time to Retire From the Game

I have been playing ESO for years, 2300+ hours on Steam, but I have absolutely no interest in completely revamping my characters champion points for a totally new game system. It is time to leave.

I am sure some will like it. But, it is not my cup of tea anymore.

I don't play as much as I use to, that's for sure (wife & kids will do that) but I'm pretty sure I have 2000+ hours on multiple individual characters....

Relax fam. I understand lots of folks are really frustrated right now. Not frustrated myself because I'm used to dealing with frustrating things/people, however I do have my own questions regarding the changes.

Be cool, keep the things you worked so hard for. Just do this, take a break for awhile. If you're in a Guild then just tell your GM you need a break from eso, then either spend that extra time doing something you enjoy or spend it with your family without letting this dumb situation take everything from you.

It will pass and things will eventually right themselves. This happens in an MMO, it is not unique to just ESO.

I came back to ESO because it was an old friend. It isn't that anymore and time to move onto something more interesting.

Just finished the opening of Battlefront II and it was quite enjoyable. After that Rage 2 is waiting in the wings. Then the Metro series. I have a backlog of fine games waiting on me and if I am going to put effort into learning something new it will be in a new game.

I did the same with No Man's Sky after 373 hours. They went their way and I went mine.

Sadly on my main alone I have ~260 days played which is > 6240 hours. With all my alts it's probably 350 days played. I try not to think about that too often...
4 GOs, and General, and bunches of prefects etc-- all classes...I've wasted a lot of time in PVP over the last 8 years

    Greetings all,

After review, we have decided to close this thread as we do not allow Goodbye/Quitting threads on the forums. These types of threads are a violation of the Community Guidelines and is stated as follows:
Goodbye/Quitting Threads: We understand that sometimes people will leave the ESO community, and want to post a “goodbye” or “quitting” thread. Generally, we have found that “goodbye” and “quitting” threads have a tendency to go downhill fast. It is our policy to read the feedback in “goodbye” and “quitting” threads and close them, regardless of whether they are constructive or not.
If there may be any question in regards to the rules, please feel free to take a few moments to review them here.

    Thank you for your understanding,
