Maintenance timer plz

So tomorrow (which is my today) there is a maintenance at 4am EST. I google that & it seems that is 11 hrs away. It is 9am here so 9 + 11 makes it...8pm. Great (with intense sarcasm tone). All that work to realize it down during my prime time. Tired of doing these calcs whenever there is a maintenance.

Yeah, i mean, how dare they report times in the timezone they are in! Don't they know where you live?

If only there was a "universal" time that everyone on the planet could agree on.

I just want a timer. I only have to add that number to my current time.

If you are on a computer you can do what I do. Just highlight the "9:00 UTC" then right click and do google search.

it's always 4am EST which is always 8pm our time. I've already cancelled my guilds wednesday trial, but we expect it on patch week honestly

other than adjusting for daylight savings the time is always the same.

Some have been at 6am.

Another option is to set up a second clock on your PC or phone to show either EST or UTC, whichever is more convenient (or both) along with your local time.

I have my PC set to show my local time normally, but if I click on the time and date on the start bar the menu which comes up includes an EST clock so I can quickly compare the two and work out when announcements, events etc. will start in my time zone.
