Everything is not exactly the same but then nothing ever is. I think that once everyone gets over the hump of respecing all their toons that they will find this to be the best patch they have released and i think it's safe to say that ESO has finally come out of beta and found itself.

Have you tried power surge out? With a base of 14 percent chance of 3k heal along a 3 second cool down?

Please tell me how this is not trash? Remember healing springs is every second 2k heal along with no cool down or chance

Been using Crit Surge... it's respectable. I'm not going to swap it out for a different Brutality source on my stamsorcs. It's probably not, "the best self-heal in the game," anymore, but that was always kinda overkill in that respect.

There are plenty of nice things to say about this patch, please lets say something nice once you have gotten past the inconvenience of the respeccing...

Pvp is coming closer to the state of balanced.
Max hp and damage taken is increased -> healers are mire needed then ever in pve and pvp. Tanks are more needed then ever in pve.
Healers and tanks got their own cp branches with more constellations to come probably depending on balance.

If they apply the cyro changes to bgs and reduce the lag further i would say this is the best patch in quite a while.

When I'm actually playing and doing one activity like farming or questing, everything feels pretty good. I haven't gotten to do group content or PVP since I only had time to respec my Farmer today.

When I'm going from different activities that involve different slottable stars like writs to armor repair to justice system to fencing to farming...then it's much less smooth as I'm stopping to go to the Champion screen and swap at least one star before I go on to the next activity.

Getting your hands around the new CP system takes some time, just using an blueprint and trying to copy it took time as I had to search high and low for nodes as you have to mouse over to find them
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

I don't mind the CP changes at all, I miss a few of the passives I had from the old system but so far so good. I just wish I could log in consistently, right now I have to make 4-5 attempts just to get past the character screen. I have been getting hard crashes at the zone loading screen and I'm a Mac player so I have no illusions about when this problem is going to get fixed.

Sorry for that. I know mac support has been less than stellar with eso. that's a shame really.

It's certainly a big meal to digest, but the more I play around with it the more I like it.

The lack of labels really bugged me. The Craft tree was really bad when I was swapping at least one star as I went around town crafting and stealing.

From my no-cp character's perspective - I really like these changes, even those characters, which I didn't like that much are now well playable and fun. This update really gave new life to these 2 characters, because I was near to delete them before.

I wasn't a happy camper when all this went live. I absolutely hated the changes on PTS, but then I wasn't playing the characters that are so familiar to me. It also is a serious demand of our time to get everything set up again, so I sought some help from Alcast's recommendations. He did a better job at figuring some configurations out then I did on the PTS server and although I'll be tweaking things to more suit my play style; I think things are working out and might just be what was needed.

Once I had everything set up on my 2 main characters and did some playing, I was pleasantly surprised to find I am liking it. I still think the Green tree should be all passive, but for the most part, I am dealing with it. The armor changes make sense as well.

Now to do the 8 other characters...

A bit overwhelming initially. But after working through all of my characters (thank you AlcastHQ!) and playing for a few days, these changes feel pretty good and a bit different.

    Nice surprises:
    • A couple of my stam dds no longer need points in health! More stam to play with and they generally don't feel as fragile.
    • Major gallop all the time is great. No longer have Rapids getting stuck on my bar. Everyone has it now.
    • Nice having something to do with each CP earned.
    • Freeing up skill points from the single armor line on some of my less played toons was welcome.

Some of the recommended sets are pretty interesting. Not to mention the new dungeons.

that's kewl. i think i'll have to look at alcast. i didnt look at anybody but set them up as what seemed best for each class after exploring the three trees. Some of the sub constellations are very interesting and have both stam and magicka branches...

I love that the first poster was happy then someone just comes in complaining about a completely random skill....
