Idk, xp for about 1700 cp just vanished into thin air (cp 1400 now, could have been around 3100). Maybe another 10 years when I gain xp at the same speed as I have been doing since launch?

Do not think anyone will get that high before ZOS overhauls the system again and potentially changes the layout and point cap

I mean I'm pretty sure there was someone who posted on here about getting 3600 on the old system...that must have truly been a grind. This is still very grindie but not as bad as it would have been with the old one.

I've been playing since beta and I'm at cp 720. I likely will never reach max CP, even if they gave everyone the EXP they earned as CP. It'll probably take me a few years just to reach the soft cap.

Question is what is the highest cp obtained?

Is there anyone who have reached over 3000cp?

    Just asking?

Same here. One of the things I like at this game is that progression is infinite. So you always get a little something while playing.

Yes, 3600CP players exist. Just extremely rare at the moment. I bet we'll see more of them in about a year.

It must be so rare that I have not seen one in my entire life in tamriel.

Though I have seen a level 5000 in the wasteland of the appalachia.

    Just saying.

I have 1025cp. I need about 200 more and then I’m back to not caring about it. I have everything I want and just need to fill out a few more passives.

I don’t know what you would do with 3600 cp. you will never get every star and it makes as much sense as my stamblade leveling up restoration staff skills.

I am CP 905. It takes me about 250k to level. Someone else mentioned they are CP 1150 and it takes them 300k to level. That means the extra XP you need to gain a level is only a few hundred increase.

Enlightment is 400k a day. If you were around CP 1025 and only used your enlightenment every day, you would gain 485 CP in a year. That doesn't include using crown scrolls or XP events. We have two major XP events coming up in the next month or so that, between them, run 20-30 days of double XP. With a little bit of effort anyone under 1200 CP should be able to grind out 100 CP in one of those events without a huge time investment. I believe there are 2 more events that have XP boosts Witches and New Life. If you gain 100 CP during those events as well, that is nearly 900 CP in the next year alone. It's not that bad.

What would you even do with 3600cp. Everyone, regardless of cp can still only slot 4 stars per tree. And half the passives are meh.
If you're around 810 now then you're good to go for any content. Just enjoy the game

You still get plenty of passives that are useful and will help in some way besides also makes it easier to switch between slotable perks and besides I'm a bit of a completionist when it comes to this stuff

At this point, I think they should've said "the system is open-ended, there is no cap". Which is essentially what the CP3600 "cap" is meant to be.
So we can all go stop caring once we got the important stuff, like with 810.

Why do you guys pop into every XP thread and say this. Don't worry about how we choose to play the game. It is a goal and it is natural to be curious about how long it might take.

"How long will this meeting be?" Don't worry about it, enjoy the meeting.
"How long will it take to get to the airport?" Don't worry about it, enjoy the ride (or walk).

I'm personally aiming for 1,8k and yesterday one char writs and rnd gave me 6 cp being around 1356 after, logged off as 1360+ without any grind so would be really fast as far as I see, might run some brp though.

It'll depend how often I can play - but I reached cp810 in less than six months, and then spent 18 months getting to 940-ish because once I got to 810 I stopped caring about going higher. It's nice to have a reason to use all those xp scrolls that are stuffed in my bank :D

Since skyreach exp has been nerfed very stealthily, reduced exp by 75%, it will take same exp as u level from 0 to 810, and u will reach soft cap at 1800 cp only. Reduce exp require from CP is nothing compare to nerf to skyreach, now it's much harder to gain level through skyreach i'm afraid

I know levels cost less experience now but damn....this is going to be one hell of a grind.

Well, the intention here seems to be to future proof the game so people will have progression to engage in for years to come. The problem is that they did it wrong because they nerfed all the players without also stat crunching the rest of the game as well as far as I can see. According to a Forbes article the devs were claiming the intent was that nobody should find themselves unable to do content they could do before. HOWEVER, it should be noted the world has not changed as far as I can see BUT players can no longer acheive the same numbers they had before using what they have to begin with.

To put it bluntly, I refuse to engage in this kind of a grind, if I wanted that there are decades worth of largely Asian produced MMOS that are designed to do exactly what AlcastHQ is now re-formatting itself to advise on. I might still play ESO, but I'm not going to be as involved with it as I once was, and right now I'm undecided as to whether I'm going to continue to maintain a subscription.

I mean I'm sorry, but fighting other players to AOE grind spawn points just doesn't do it for me. If I can't do the things I want to do in the game anymore, and they aren't going to at release satisfying content in abundance enough to get to that point, I might as well invest my time elsewhere. We'll see what happens though.

I also think it's unfair that they crunched the level requirement for each CP so new players can catch up. I mean if this is now "Elder Scrolls The Grind" it's unfair that they should have to grind less than someone who already put in the time. I get very tired of it always being the veteran MMO players who get stabbed in the back and don't have their time and investment rewarded.

As someone who PVPs a lot, I think roughly 2000 is the golden number according to people who have looked at it, yo unlock all the passives you'll want, and your 12 slottables.

So that'll be my aim. At 1350 or so now, and 1800 will be alright to get to by the sounds of things.

Doubt I'll grind that much though. I'll do random dungeons more than I do. Random BGs will be good too. I play BGs a fair bit, so it will just be swapping between more characters than normal.

On console, we're like a year or so behind PC I think, meanings year less of capless CP. So I doubt anyone on console is super high.

Highest I know personally is just over 1800. But most people I speak to a lot do spend a fair amount of time in cyrodiil, where xp is gained a lot slower.
