I am just on CP700. Is my char now doing worse or the same DPS?

I've already used the following build as far as possible:

https://alcasthq.com/eso-stamina-dragonknight-2h-build-pve/

Of course I wasn't able to use all Champion Points that the guide shows.

Thank you!

Supposedly it's still the same as before.
A lot of the power that was in CP before has now been translated into base stats that characters even below lvl50 get.
So you've lost nothing and you will be gaining power more quickly than before until you reach the end of vertical progression at around 1800 or 2000CP
This Bosmer was tortured to death. There is nothing left to be done.

Only few people reported that their dps stayed the same, most people lost some. I personally lost about 5% but some supposedly lost 10-15%

I'm rather overwhelmed by this new CP system, but honestly, I was rather overwhelmed with the old CP system and didn't understand the best way to go about things either. The old system was just easier to dump in points to get passives.

I have 520CP, and I'm not that great at the game, and only ever did about 32k DPS on a regular skeleton with mid tier gear. This was back in july of last year. I decided to test out the new patch today since I heard it was big and wondered if my build was still where it was at, and I can say that after setting up my warfare tree in the way alcast said it should be and dealing with almost a years worth of rustiness in my rotation, I only lost about 1-2k that I believe I can easily get back just by getting used to my old rotation. So basically, same gear and skills and I'm sitting around the same DPS as I did almost a year ago.

I'm not sure how this update affects lower skilled/geared players as in if they're unaffected or have seen a good increase in damage (which would allow me get the same numbers from a year ago), but it seems like once you set your CP, you should be fine. You'll probably lose some depending on your build, but I don't think you're going to have your DPS cut in half like some people are making it out to be.
