Guys why dont u see that people dont like this changes? Just look at forums? 90% of all threads are about disappointment. Really just take a look. ZOS your main problem is NERFING your own game(doesnt matter what is the reason PvP or PvE). People want to see some progress from patch to patch, from chapter to chapter... but alas... u are constantly nerfing everything. Maybe you stop this? What u think? This game is wonderful but...

90% of all threads are disappointment because its just human nature to say when they dont like something. Very few people actually say if they like the changes. So you cant really tell by the threads. Also 90% of the player base or more doesn't even read the forum.

Most people I talked to in guilds, in game, etc seem happy. Ever heard of the people who will cry will be the loudest? I run a ISP in a small Town and we have 100's of customers very happy... People Never ever post positive comments at random but if a person has any issues most the time their own issues with a PC problem, etc they post and cry publicly right away. This just human nature. No one goes out their way to give positive feedback just negative.

Because ZOS is ignoring this forum as best as they can. They are also ignoring the class reps so why are we even still surprised that us peasants are being ignored? The Devs do whatever they want and we have to like it or leave, that's all we can really do.

Yup, no one is going to be "blown away" by the changes. The ones ok with them (a good chunk of people I know in Guilds etc.) are not going to come to Forums to praise this rework.

As usual and human, complainers are louder, does not mean that they represent the majority.

Not only do they continually make changes, they make *big* changes. Most games I’ve played previously have made small, incremental changes, which are usually tolerated a whole lot better by the community than ZOS’s style of *changing the whole game.*

People who are ok with things usually don't feel the need to go and make a post about it.

given up why? because you need now less XP to gain a CP point than before?- Or is it about those overpowered gear sets, which do not proc in pvp - now you can show your skill - and not just abilities of your gear. Use the opportunity to shine.

my two guilds were predominantly not happy. both top trader guilds with tons of vet players.

they have to think smarter - what opportunity does free respecs create for a trader - just think about it.

I'm all for change and personally like most of the patch, what has dampened my enthusiasm is the fact I'm going to have to grind for different gear and shell out loads more gold to improve it.

They could at least let us salvage our gold sets that are now useless.

PVE is good. New CP and dunguans are not bad. Dunguans are good, cp is ... just the same as before if say trully. Have + and -. But not really bad or good.

PVP is really dissapoitment. Want my sets back !

I just wrote a rather lengthy post on the subject, with an attention getting title to increase the chances it will be read. That said I don't expect anything to change because if it did it would be unprecedented in the history of MMORPGs... and let's just say I'm a bit of a game gypsy that has wandered from game to game for a very long time, returning to my favorites periodically.

Ever since the early days of games like Ultima Online (where I knew some of the GMs fairly well), I've noticed a certain anti-user bias combined with a siege mentality among the developers. Some portray this as recent, in reality it's been there from the beginning. There is a sort of "us vs. them" mentality and when the developers decide they want something they are going to do it, regardless of what the community tells them. In recent years you've heard a lot about "toxic" communities, but consider that if you look, I mean REALLY look, there isn't one out there that the devs don't consider to be toxic, which should in of itself tell you something about the problems and the mentalities involved.

To set the way back machine back in the bad old days of "UO The Graveyard" there was this evil bad guy group called "The Zog Cabal". Zog the Caveman (the first human) being a huge part of the lore of Ultima (which was an uber-franchise back then). It all comes down to him having learned a spell that could end all life, and the Zog Cabal wanting to re-learn and cast this spell. The bones of Zog can be found in the museum of "Ultima 6" and he's mentioned in most of the games. At any rate some wisearse who didn't even play the game happened to make note that there was a real group called ZOG "Zionist Ordained Government" and try and claim that the game, which drew on a lore that was now decades old, was in some way bigoted and anti-Jewish. As a result they set out on a crusade to erase Zog from the game lore and the MMO specifically. There was a massive outcry against this by Ultima fans old and new, and did common sense overcome a bit of early PC pandering by the game devs? Nope. If anything it put a huge wedge between the fans and those running the game, and nobody cared as long as it was still making money.

Not too long ago I suggested a server rollback when they cancelled an event but not before they distributed loot which now nobody else could get. That would have taken 15 seconds to set right, but it never happened.

Right now the devs are convinced that this is a good idea, they never ran it by the community, and they don't care. To a lot of them I'd imagine we're pretty much "the enemy" despite everything. Nothing good is being said about the changes, but to them they figure it doesn't matter since all we do is whine.... Unless it somehow tanks ESO, they aren't likely to do anything to roll back these changes, and maybe not even if it did.

I have literally seen games get ridden down into the fiery pits of perdition with the devs insisting it's all for the best before giving the community what it says it wants in cases like this.

Understand, if you can't even "Save Zog The Caveman" back in the beginning, your not going to win this one now when things seem to be even more entrenched then ever before.

They need to nerf and reset powerlevels. We already are nuclear bombs killing everything in sight in seconds. Mobs melt at the sheer sight of us. How is that fun?

Nerfing everything? I have been playing this game since launch back in 2014 and 5-6 years ago maximum DPS people could reach in dungeons&trials was around ~40k and majority of end game players were at 30-35k.

Now you can check youtube or esologs and see people hitting over 100-120K DPS in trials. And when they nerf some stuff and cause around 10-15k overall DPS loss, people start crying and talking about NERFS.

This is not a nerf, it's undoing the former buffs to get back to balance.I think we need even more nerfs

The only thing they must do is to ALREADY BUFF ARGONIANS this patch. ZOS totally failed. I'm playing since launch and since then they just overnerfed them twice just without reason. No one ever asked for this.

I don't know, there's more than a few threads floating around on the front page today started by people that have no idea how something works, but are complaining about it as if they are the most informed people on the internet?

Most of these threads serve the purpose of feeding my Daedric Prince, the Daedric Prince of melodrama. I predicted back then that my power would only grow, and expand beyond the TES realms, and boy has it.

still this doesnt exclude dissapoitment in playing players

like for example from myself I meet many players, later friends here with who I was playing very often and many many of them had no willing to look at forums but anyway they was disspointed with ZOS steps with this game and they just quitted for their good, for their nervers and most of them if not all just get experience from this single game how ZOS development it and ignoring their customers they are now prejudiced from buying any other product from ZOS


as 90% if not more players dont care for forums this doesnt mean most of these players are happy with game where ZOS is heading
