If your not happy with the new nerfs, CP changes and other changes that ruined the game.

QUIT PAYING THEM! show ZOS you don't like what they have done, MONEY is what drives the game not your complaints.

    Quite right.

Like any business, they're not going to revert a change simply because they were wrong or because it is "the right thing to do" - no, you must speak in the language that they understand - and that's money.

I've ideated about cancelling my sub in the past over prior poor decisions but this patch pushed me over the edge.

Correct, because if something you don't like happens with a product you do like, you should just throw the whole entire product away because of that one thing you don't like about it.

So long as you understand that ZOS doesn't distinguish between "I'm buying the Chapter because I love quests but I hate your combat direction" and "I'm buying the Chapter because I love your combat direction, but I hate quests."

All the Accounting Department hears is "I'm buying the Chapter."

In the end, you get to decide to continue to spend money on ESO or not. That's a very personal decision.

    Speaking of which:

If you have pre-ordered Blackwood and would like to cancel your pre-order - players have reported success with Steam Customer Support.

If you did not pre-order it via Steam then opening a Customer Support ticket with ZOS is likely the way to go. Just make sure not to do a charge-back on your card or your account will be permanently banned (though that not might matter to everyone depending upon the magnitude of your displeasure).

I'm not buying the new DLC. I don't really see any point to it if I can't use any of those sets in PvP. I do not really play PvE unless there is an event. So I'd rather save my money instead of buying a new chapter full of sets I'll never use.

Agreed ESO has gotten worse with the nerfs from what it originally started, The only way to tell ZOS is to stop funding them

If the game is good enough to keep playing, then it's good enough to keep paying. Why anyone would think that flooding the servers of a B2P game by still playing while pretending not to like it enough to subscribe or use the Crown Store is going to change anything about the way the game is run is beyond me. It's really just an excuse to save money, while walking away from both the game and the forum really would give the developers a message - but only if enough players did so and they didn't return a couple of months later which is what usually happens  ! I've seen one thread tonight where the "I've finally had enough and I quit" type wording is almost identical to the wording the poster used two years ago  !
