This is what it says on my membership page where I just cancelled my account.

I've done most things in the game: tanked Vet trials, run trials as dps, done Vet Maelstrom, Vateshran, of course all the dungeons long ago.

But all I do these days is PvP and for this reason I'm canceling.

One of the main things I like about PvP is thinking up or reading about new set combinations and trying them out. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't-- but it is fun. New monster sets, Vate weapons, VMA weapons, -- all these things make the game interesting. A lot of the grinding was to get new things to try in PvP.

Now two things happening at once: 6 months where we can only use sets from 5 years ago. It is boring. Yes, I can sit there and do the warden combo: shalks, charge, dizzy/heavy/executioner dawnbreaker. How many times? Thousands and thousands. We need variety to keep the game interesting and variety is sets.

The other is the CP re-work. Suddenly you want me to grind by doing all this boring old crap again and again? I have ~1400 cp and now I'll be essentially a noob again. No, I won't grind and I see no reason why after years and years when everyone was on equal footing, suddenly we have to earn 1600 new CP.

Sure I have a couple months left on my sub and will see how it goes.

But you can't have my stuff: it is all no drop and you can't use it in Pvp anyway.
3 GOs, a Warlord, and bunches of prefects etc-- all classes...I've wasted a lot of time in PVP
