From a PVPer: this "no procs for 6 months" is bush league.

The funny thing is, the only real proc set I ever use is VD on my bomber, because it's so fun. But I use plenty of other sets that aren't really proc sets, but now are considered proc sets for... some reason... (bad software design.)

Either keep the proc sets or fix your broke sets that shouldn't be considered proc sets. Anything that provides a constant buff should not be considered a proc set. (Bone Pirate, War Maiden, etc.)

Honestly, I still think more proc sets should stay in the game (immediately) than what I outlined above. But this would be the bare minimum to keep things interesting in PVP. I'm personally considering unsubbing.

There is already several threads on this, but here is my response in all of them.

PvP player complaints have just ruined heavy and light armor to the point that two of my guilds are questioning if they can actually complete trials anymore.

So I am having a hard time feeling any compassion for complaints over cyrodiil.

i agree some proc sets are good , and should not be banned. sets that gives you stats via proc (stam/mag + weapon/spell damage) are ok

truly bad ones are that gives you DAMAGE or HEALING, with proc., like caluurion as for mag and much more sets like sheer venom, venomous smite ets for stam should be banned for cyrodiil
same goes for sets that can heal you, like earthgore

That would be a reasonable compromise. This all or nothing approach is just disappointing.

Again, I don't support the whining. Get good is my philosophy. So I don't appreciate that they've nerfed PVE either, even though I can't bring myself to PVE.

I wouldn't mind all damage dealing procs getting turned off, and by the looks of Gina's announcement they're changing some code around due to player feedback. So fingers crossed we'll get sets like Clever Alchemist, Burning Spellweave, and War Maiden turned back on later down the line.

Add crimson and harbinger to the list of sets that should never have been allowed.

Armor should never do your killing for you and a proc should not save you from imminent death so not just healing proc sets but any defensive proc set
