im droping out of combat like instantly now, be mid fight, move away, dots run their duration and then BAM out of combat and can mount up.

its been weird and amazing to just instantly be out of combat when you walk away.
ESO player since beta.
previously full time subscriber, beta-2024, game got too disappointing.

    Sorry to ruin your bubble but in noCP we also got stuck in combat. You just need to wait to fight some ball groups :)

    Maybe you still have the bug because you play on no cp, we fought a couple guild grps on Grey Host EU and still had 0 ooc bug tonight :o

    no, fighting ballgroup still puts you in combat forever. when you damage them you are in combat as long as they are in combat, which can be for long time.

    thats why it is good to ignore these groups and avoid them completely. or you have to kill yourself to get rid of it

    I think I know what it is in pvp.

    I'm convinced it's when you tag someone who doesn't die, or until they leave combat.

    Be that a nightblade that sneaks away, or someone running around a tower for an hour.

    There's certain people my guild audibly groan at accidentally tagging at a keep, because we know that person will tank 10 people for 20 minutes and we won't be able to mount.

    That's my theory anyway. You're still in combat be ause they're still in combat and someone it ties you together.

    Edit: just realised person above me posted the same thing. Definitely think it's the case.
