If OP is running Relequen, what are the chances that the sets are for PvP?
OP: what content are you looking to do? There’s isn’t a best-in-slot that covers everything in game. Let us know if you’re looking for PvE or PvP, solo or group, overland or dungeon or trial, etc.
vCR is very tough on a stam melee character (just doing dps there is not a problem but helping the group kill orbs, creepers and shades will be hard) so some raid leads won't accept stam dps there. Selene+ Relequen+ AY+ (maelstrom bow/ BRP dual wield backbar) is one of the best combos out there, but not for every fight.thomasadinkerke wrote: »I'm actually focused on getting great dps to do vTrials PVE.
My goal is to reach 5k more dps so that i have a fighting chance in my guilds to get inside their vCR etc. rosters. not having Maelstrom arena is a big downside i should work on to be honest.

Main boss in vCR teleports often, meaning sets that rely on building stacks (such as Relequen and AY will lose quite a bit of effectiveness here). Same story in trials like vAS+2. Levithan set is definitely better than AY for these fights. Also domihaus instead of Selene. Having a ranged spammable on the backbar is also a good idea for these fights.
I'd try Domihaus + Levithan (front bar or on both bars if you don't have vMA bow) + Vicious ophidion (body/jewels) for vCR+x/vAS+2. Extra sustain from VO will allow you to use an AoE spammable without any sustain issues when bosses/adds are stacked.
