Warning message when sending tell offline

Can we get a warning message in chat telling us we are offline. I go offline every day to do my writs so I do not spam all my friends with logins. I even downloaded an addon that shows the online/offline symbol but it doesn't seem to help me. Every day I forget to go back online and I send tells to people and have no response. I then have to correct the situation after thinking people ignore me. Losing sales/trades and one time I even ignored someone because I got no response but I was offline. A warning in chat when I am offline and send a tell would fix this for me.

I have just released an add-on that should solve this issue for you!

"Safe Whispers"

Safe Whispers is an add-on to prevent accidentally sending whispers with the users status set to "Offline" or "Do-Not-Disturb".

This add-on will optionally set your status to "Online" automatically when the chat window is set to whisper another user while set to "Offline" or "Do-Not-Disturb", as well as alerting you through a chat message if your status was changed and whether replies will be received.

If the Auto-Online setting is disabled the add-on will alert you that replies will not be received without changing the your status.

Awesomesauce! Yeah, by this time of night, I'm not in game (because I KNOW better) but really.... If I'm drinking, I do NOT do anything that needs intellect.

Still, it's a great thing there's an addon, yah?
