Do people here sometimes (or all the time) take nostalgia trips back to Base Game or older DLC zones to relive memories, experience the terrain again, etc? I'm not talking about the Alliance Capital player hubs or starter cities like Davon's Watch, Mournhold, Vulkhel Guard and others. I mean places like Shadowfen, Rivinspire, Malabal Tor, Wrothgar, Hew's Bane, even Murkmire now. I find it pleasant to revisit old locations that don't have any traffic anymore. More peaceful, though the random max level or a couple new players aren't unwelcome to see. In fact seeing players even in these seemingly unimportant zones for the late game tells me ESO is still a thriving game.
For technically no reason at all the other night I decided to travel back to Root Whisper Village and take in the scenery again. It's a beautiful place, even if it's a ruin but at the same time the Argonians are attempting to restart, make it lived in again. The historical remains of the Argonians expertise in stonemasonry combined with the thick overgrowth of the Marsh is memorable. I even did a quest for the daily job broker so I could explore more of the area again.
