Flame attronachs are everywhere

I just realized after scrolling through achievments that I had only killed 26 Frost Astronachs.

What gives? Frost Astronachs are everywhere. while Storm Astronachs are also extremely rare, you Sorcers have an Ultimate for one. Frost you barely see, yet they are probably my favorite.

So is there any real explanation for why we don't see Frost Astronachs?

Maybe its because of the climate change so they melt away ...

Seems like by in game logic they're more powerful than the weak fire atronach, so probably harder to summon. Just go to Coldharbor, there are two locations there that have plenty.

Traditionally Flame Atronachs are easier to summon, while Frost and Storm require more skill.

Maybe not exactly climate change, but it will have to do with the different zones. We can find frost atronachs in Coldharbour, but we probably won't see them in the Deadlands. Sometimes atronachs obviously appear in an appropriate environment when you think of the flame atronachs on the lava flows, but there are in general many more temperate zones, steppes or deserts - why should a frost atronach stand around in the Alikr´r for example.

Where are you running around, OP? I find the opposite is true. Flame atronachs are certainly more commonly seen in my personal travels.

Go to the scars in cragloon area. There you should find all types of atronachs, fire, frost, abd storm

Fyi, storm atronach atronach is supposed to be the strongest offensive atronach, frost is bulky and second to storm, but flame atronachs are novic lvl. Yet, we can't summon any of them regularly, except for storm atronach as a unltimate.

Not so worried about there being so many... more interested in HOW there are so many, given that I’ve yet to see any ability to summon one.

Flame atronachs are common because they are formed by Scamps failing to extinguish their cigarettes properly.

Still wish there was a morph for the Sorc Ulti to summon one of these for Stam toons. Would go along thematically with Hurricane and I would love to use it with Aegis Caller...lol

I usually hit willowgrove in Southern Reaper's. All 3 types and spriggans there.

Better question why do sorcs summon the 3 lamest of all daedra and not the fire frost iron, air i mean they could easily be morphs

Like summon fire atro does fire version of the flapflap function morphs into a fire dps skill with an activated heal. Other morph an iron atro for a tankier ally replace clanfear



Scamp replaced with ice or air atro

Air atro for stam dps make it attack and reactivate does the aegis caller attack, ice for magicka just cuz its ice doesn't mean 1000% has to be a tank make ot emit freezing pulses to replace scamp crap.

Yes but those hardly ever drop anything. Maybe one in six will have elemental essence, the rest have nothing.

Fire and lightning sell more as destructive elements. If you need to farm frost atronachs try willowgrave in Reaper's March or Craglorn.

I got the smoldering ember heart a few days ago in Vvardenfell.

The better question you should be asking is: why can't sorcerers summon flame or ice atronachs when there's a perfect call down animation for them already in the game that makes them similar to their current ult?

In Greymoor they had muiltiple oppurtunities to put down frost atronachs. But during the main quest I dont think i saw any

I'm getting more and more confused here, now we have attronachs, Astronachs, Atronachs, Atronarchs, atros... I can't see clearly anymore because of all these astrosnarchts
