Twitch: crate stuck at 7% and not progressing further.

As the title says. I watched the entire stream, crate started to progress, but got stuck at 7% and didn’t progress any further. The same for my friend. His one got stuck at 5% and didn’t progress any further for the rest of the stream.

We both tried to restart the app, restart the phone, reinstall app but nothing helped, still stuck at 7% with no progression.

Anyone experienced this?

Hey how many crates did people get this stream?

Of course i didn't click refresh on the stream so missed it...

But i did get one last night.. did people get more than one in total today?

I tried to claim my drop when it showed 100% but it kept telling me "Error drop not claimed" so I have no idea whether there would have been a second one or not. I'm guessing we have to contact twitch somewhere about the error in collecting it? I'm not quite sure what to do.

I never got notification for a drop at all and when I checked after the stream it showed none to claim. My game account is linked and I have received drops in the past so I don’t know why it failed this time. I submitted a support ticket to Twitch so we’ll see what comes of that.

Same. Still can't claim it.
It just errors out

I got one crate for watching a streamer last night, and another crate for watching the Tribunal Charity Stream earlier today.

Watched the Tribunal stream today, start to finish. My "timer" hit 100% after about 15+ minutes but it was a good 30 minutes before a Crate was showing up to be claimed. I did manage to claim it on the Twitch drop system page while the stream was on but have not checked to see if I rec'd it in game yet. Update, I did receive a crate in game.

I had difficulties on the crates with errors, timer not progressing and more crates not showing up to be claimed at the big reveal stream. ESO support was helpful and offered me a " one time only " deal to get the crate owed ( which is not a great way to deal with a problem at the ESO/Twitch end of things if they are looking for future support and viewers ).

There were plenty of viewers today stating issues in the chat and were told to check with Twitch support first and if that failed to go to ESO support.

If this is an ongoing issue since Twitch changed their drop system and ESO Streams create issues ( maybe from the larger numbers of viewers ? ) these threads reporting problems can be expected to re-appear every time.

If you want to keep viewers from being frustrated sort it out.

Well I'm happy to report that although I didn't hear back from twitch other than an automated 'we got your ticket' message, I did actually recieve a crate last night after all. So thank you to whoever out there sorted it out.

I got the crate, but ran into 3 issues getting there.

First, the notice at the top of the chat window (at least on the iPad's version of Twitch) that shows there's a drops campaign for the stream was missing. I checked my account settings and it said I was online, watching the Bethesda channel, linked to my game account, and showed the drops campaign under "All Campaigns," but didn't show the drops progress meter under the "Inventory" tab. I closed the app, restarted, and that "fixed" it.

Second, I kept checking the progress meter every so often, but it got stuck at 13%-- presumably because the popup said that I was "offline" for some reason. I don't know what happened or why, but I've seen that happen before-- Twitch decides that I'm no longer "online," even though I'm still connected and am watching a live stream. I "fixed" it by closing and restarting again.

Third, I eventually got the notice that I'd scored a drop, and I claimed it right away. But a little while later the little reward box icon (for +50 channel points) popped up and I clicked on it to claim my channel points, but got a message saying "there was a problem claiming your reward; try again later" or words to that effect-- except I did get my channel points, and the crate still showed as having been claimed "9 minutes ago" on my inventory tab. Right after that, people in the chat started saying that they were getting that message, so it seems like there was some kind of glitch somewhere, either on Twitch's end or ZOS's end. I did receive the crate in the game, as well as the email notification, so I don't know if I lucked out by earning the drop before the glitch hit, or what-- but it seemed like something hinky was definitely going on with Twitch that day.

Sounds to me like Twitch drops have issues with different platforms. I'm not having issues with Twitch drops on a windows computer using the default browser. I see posting from folks using iPad app and phone app having problems with Twitch drops.

Or are folks having problems on windows computers too, and RNGesus is being kind to me for once?

Glad you got your crate! I submitted a ticket to Twitch succinctly stated the problems and eliminating the usual suspects — game account is linked and yea, I met the time requirement, I was watching and participating the whole time. So far, all I’ve received a list of FAQ. Seriously? Well, I responded, again, succinctly and politely and yet await any further response or even evidence that my ticket has been read. I really don’t think much of Twitch or their app and only have an account there for ESO.
