Senche, the animations are fluid and don't look like they're going to induce nausea or vomiting in the rider.

I'd love to use the camel, but it looks like it's going to make me barf.
I'd love to use the bear I have for a Nord... it's worse than the camel.

My Bosmer healer has taken to a sickly Indrik. I'm assuming it's sickly, the wheezing and creaking it makes jumping over even small rocks. I don't think it's long for this world.

While I have my preferences, I often change my mount according to the place I travel to (if I stay for a longer time) - I have so many mounts from giveaways, free crown crates, new chapter releases, etc, after all. So I used a wolf during the Greymoor chapter, and a camel while travelling Elsweyr (I don't think I have a Senche-raht, also riding on some random Khajiit's brother or son seems a bit creepy to me ).

Glyptodon, Bristleback, Chaurus, Durzog... Anything that's new and creative really and not just a reskin of something old that we've all seen before.

Guars, kagouti and nix-oxes may be my favourite, but my characters use what suits them best, which is often not one of the three.
My imperials/breton/nord— horses, despite how much I loathe the model.
Redguards — camels
Dunmer — nix-ox, guar, or kagouti
Argonian — guar or kagouti. If we get wamasu sometime, then that will be used too.
Khajiit — senche, the single Baandari mount I have, and senche-raht who is a sibling to one of my khajiit.
Bosmer — is a bit more random. Few mounts feel right on them. Maybe we can get a thunder/assassinbeetle mount for them, but until then it's random between guars and elk.
Orc — Waiting on that welwa, because an echatere ain't coming soon >.>
Altmer — Whenever I get around to make one, they will likely ride the default indrik.

I would use the jewelled guar but my NA char doesnt have it sadly.

The cat mounts are my favorites, but I also use a couple of the wolves, a couple of bears, one or two horses, even a couple of the guars.
And my main is currently using the Dark Stag.

Senche, wolves and dwemer spiders are all very comfortable to ride. I think of these three categories the senche the least, but I have the striped tiger senche so I ride that one on almost every character.

Guars are ok. Horses, camels and heavyweights are horrible to ride on high speed.

The classic horse. Even if the mounts I use the most are (in terms of animations or graphics) outdated compared to other mounts, I remain faithful to the most common mount.

I use the horse v1 and the facelift v1 a lot. The recent v2 horse, I use it very little (Potentate's horse) because it does not conform to my roleplay.
As soon as there is a West Weald Palomino v2 or a Legion Horse v2, I will take them without hesitation.

OMG OMG I can't decide!

When it goes to sound my number 1 is Doom Wolf, his howl of death gives goosebumps.
When it goes to animation arthropods/senches - most smooth ride.
When it goes to looks heavywieghts/ursines - it's just awesome to ride into battle on a massive beast.
When it goes to epicness - elks and horses - LOTR fanboy here, sorry
