Hello!
I finished the game!
I know I'm not the first person to have reached maximum achievement points (that honour goes to my lovely friend Scott:
https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/459138/all-in-game-achievements-unlocked/p1) and there are maybe half a dozen or so others who have reached max before me too
But! I want to give a huge thank you to all the people I have met along the way.
Firstly, I want to thank my raiding guild; Pathfinders. Without you, i'm certain it would be impossible for me to achieve all of those tough endgame PvE raid achievements. Not only do we complete the achievements together, we've completed the last few (Godslayer, Dawnbringer) really ahead of the curve, so it's only been my own laziness at not wanting to do Battlegrounds that has kept me from reaching max achievement points earlier
Also, you guys actually keep me motivated to play the game. If you play the game as much as me, you do eventually run out of things to do (see above), but being able to hang out with these amazing people three nights a week keeps me wanting to play every day
Next up, I want to thank Late Night Dungeoneers. LND has to be one of the best communities on PC EU. It's a huge community, full of talented players, and i've met so many wonderful people who are happy to join me on all those obscure little achievements that are grindy as hell.
@Kilnerdyne the Guildleader does a fantastic job at nurturing a helpful community that has something for everyone, people who are new to raiding, and raid-veterans alike.
I also want to thank my dungeon crew
@ProsteCech, Lulu and Warfire aptly named "Yeet Squad" because we love to throw dungeon achievements right at the last minute and yeet them into Oblivion. Without you sweaty nerds, I know I would lose patience trying to do the No Death, Hardmode, Speedruns, and those annoying mini achievements in Dungeons. (I'm looking at you, Moongrave Fane & Lair of Maarselok)
There are probably hundreds more people & communities that deserve my thanks, so apologies to anyone i've missed out. I love you all
Here are some of the stats and fun milestones of my journey:
I started my ESO journey on 28th June, 2015
What is now my main character (Olibeau) isn't the first one I started with. My first character was Valeryan, a Dunmer Stamina Nightblade (back before stam was viable for a Dunmer), however I did enjoy that my Endless Hail did flame damage, and that was buffed by my racial passives (Who remembers that super old CP system?
)
I think I got to about Veteran rank 7 or so on my Nightblade, before I started mainly playing Olibeau, a Breton Dragonknight. I started the character as a tank, but after everyone telling me that Breton is a magicka race, I eventually changed it to a Magicka DD after a few months, just to try it out, and ended up really enjoying my whips and chains! (and breathing fire)
(I think) This is the first achievement I earned on this character, 6th July 2015, a few months before the release of the Imperial City DLC
I think one of my first "Big" achievements, would have been Master Angler in October 2016. Despite getting this achievement over 4 years ago, I have not felt compelled to get this achievement again on other characters (unlike Elias, who has over 30:
https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/456559/30-master-anglers-proof-that-the-artaeum-pickled-fish-bowl-works/p1)
Next up, another achievement that I know is quite a landmark for a lot of people, is Grand Overlord. I never really joined an organised PvP guild, but I met lots of friends in Cyro and had many many evenings of casual cyro together. I think that's probably the best way to do PvP.. in fact all of these achievements. If you're just hangin around and chatting with your buddies, it never really feels like a grind
In August 2017, I organised an Emperor push in Pathfinders. We went to one of those relatively empty 7 day campaigns, and I managed to get Emp in less that 2 hours i'm pretty sure. I think in total we got 5 or 6 players their first Emperor title, which was super cool!
Despite having kinda finished PvP on my main character, I do still indulge in a bit of PvP now and again, mostly on Stam NB (Rank 48) and Stam Warden (Rank 34)
In total across all characters i have made at least 176 million AP (Not including probably several million AP earned on my main while doing Battleground achievements)
I've always really enjoyed PvE, and I used to tank raids in World of Warcraft as a teen. In ESO I have dabbled a lot in tanking, and also in DD'ing (a little bit in healing too), but it took me quite a long time before I got my first "triple" achievement (No death, hardmode, speedrun). This was the Tick-Tock Tormentor title in Halls of Fabrication, which Pathfinders got March 2019.
After that, I went through and got my Immortal Redeemer, and I think my Gryphon Heart too. When the PTS for Elsweyr was released, Pathfinders made sure that we got plenty of experience in here, and we had a bit of an overhaul, bringing in lots of new, experienced members. I was a little bit disappointed when Elsweyr released, that the meta was Stamina Necromancers... which meant that I would have to wait to get the achievement on my Magicka DK. Nevertheless, we completed our first Godslayer in 2019, and then in February 2020 we did the first ever(?) full Magicka Godslayer, which I managed to bring my Magicka DK to!
It was at this point I was really close to getting maximum achievement points. The only achievements I had left, were some Battleground ones, and the Moon Hunter Keep triple (I took a break around the time of its release, so didn't do it when it was popular). However... it would still take me over a year to reach max achievement points lol.
When Greymoor released, I guess I was a little worried that I'd drop back with my achievement progressions, and there would be some other hungry players overtaking me. However, with Pathfinders, we managed to get the PC EU 1st Dawnbringer (2nd in the world), which really motivated me to push through with those last achievements I needed!
When Markarth came out, I had already made some good progress on the Battleground achievements, and I'd managed to do the Moon Hunter Keep triple that i'd slacked on for so long. Eventually, the last achievements I needed were Grand Standard-Guardian, and the Thorn Legion motif (which hadn't been released yet). I decided the best thing to do, would be to get close to completing Grand Standard-Guardian, and then wait until the Thorn Legion motif is released, then buy the motif, and complete the Grand Standard-Guardian on stream!

In total, I have played my main character for 337 days
Across all my characters (18 on EU, and maybe 3 or 4 on NA that i've spent like.. 1hr total on) I've played for over 770 days!
As you can see, I do play all of my characters; and I do achievements on them too! (though mostly just raiding or PvP achievements) You can see my main ones here on this google sheet:

Also, as a final little bonus, here is the tweet I made yesterday, that seems to have blown up a little bit haha:
Thank you very much everyone for reading!
