Its proportions are off, because its kinda halfway between a hare and a rabbit. But I still love it, lol!winterscrolls229prerb18_ESO wrote: »Is it just me, or are the front legs too long?
EDIT: I've only had the honor of keeping a few netherland dwarfs so not exactly sure about the big ones. Seriously the best pet available. There's even a damage risk while you're learning how to keep them, amazing. I can only imagine octopuses or pigs could be better pets than these.
The 'enterprising merchants' from the description sold it as a 'bunny' (they know their target audience) so that's what it is! I predict these bunnies (or 'bunnies' if you prefer) will be all the rage in High Rock parlors this season!NotaDaedraWorshipper wrote: »It's a hare!
Lol, awesome! Hail the Killer Rabbit of Caerbannog!RemanCyrodiil_I wrote: »Now I want a bunny combat pet..Its head is too big for the body tbh, and the hind legs are too small (which is why I think the front ones look so long, especially when it stands up on its hind legs... that's... the worst animation of the three imo, as it highlights the somewhat top-heavy out-of-proportion-ness. )

Hi everyone! So, the game added a super important new Pet: the b u n n y. That's right. This fella right here: 🐇
It's 1000 Crowns, and needless to say it's adorable.
In case people were wondering about the animations and sounds it makes, here's a short video of it doing its adorable thing. You know, bunny stuff. 🐰
In addition to its 'idle' stance, it will do these three animations in a random unorderly manner:https://youtu.be/NPS6YGuVajs
- sniffs the ground
- surveys its surroundings (stands on its hind legs)
- performs a paw-and-ear wishy-wash
The animation of flopping the ears down and cleaning it with is paws is really accurate to how real bunnies clean themselves, so kudos to the developer who designed the bunny rig and animations!!! ZOS, give this person a raise, pls. (I hope it was made by the Jerboa-dev, because that was amazing too! Honestly ESO's pet game is on point. Unlike its mount game. Just... don't even mention the horses.) If I had to leave some constructive feedback though, the snout is too wide/puffy, hares and bunnies usually have a narrower nose/mouth area. Oh and the sound... Bunnies do not chirp. Or squeal-purr. Or make whatever that sound at 0:24 is supposed to be. They snort, honk, and in distress squeak, but that ingame sound is really non-bunny-like. Adding nothing would have been better than adding something in this case, I think. Also kinda wish it would do the trust bunny flop and lie down, but I guess that would've been to complex. Alas, no sleeping bunny. Not even a yawn. The Jerboa was definitely better-animated (it did have a sleeping animation).
But, good news on the horizon! Want even more bunnies??? Datamining from Flames of Ambition suggest that there'll probably be recolors (just like there were recolors of the Jerboa, and Fawn pets). The brown bunny below is our first contender for an upcoming recolor (the usual disclaimer: datamining is no guarantee, things are subject to change, etc etc).
(Also, yes, I know it's technically a Hare, but even its description says it's a Bunny: 'Enterprising merchants seek out and capture these delightful little creatures, calling them either "bunnies" or, if the buyer prefers accuracy or a certain level of decorum, Pale Pass Mountain Hares. So cute!' So Bunny it is. I'm one of those eccentric Breton Bunny ladies and I'm not sorry.)
What does everyone else think? Did you get the Bunny? Do you think it's worth the price?
Have any feedback for the devs? What re-colour would you like to see most?

(Hare-rabbit... would that be a 'rare' or a 'habbit'?)

And oooh, Netherland Dwarves!!! So cute! Their ears are so smol, and their noses are extra boop-y! So adorable! I even bought a wood elf throne for my bun
Lol that is so adorable! Love what you've done with yours! So adorable! I even bought a wood elf throne for my bun
The sound in the game sounds more like a chirp or a chitter or a dunno what (at 0:24 in the video). And yeah they do the teeth-grinding and thumping, but they're more sounds than actual vocalisations; and the sound ingame sounds very different from anything that they produce in my experience. They may have copied the sound from another animal sound ingame even. Doesn't sound like it was made for a rabbit, and it may have been better to have no sound than to have that sound.QuebraRegra wrote: »bunnies do purr (sorta that teeth thing they do when they're happy). Foot stamping (a la THUMPER) is a typical signal they're unhappy/alarmed. Rabbits will honk to get attention if they cannot do so otherwise. Rabbits will SCREAM in extreme circumstances... it's a horrible sound I hope you never hear.Hi everyone! So, the game added a super important new Pet: the b u n n y. That's right.
