For as much as people charge for carries, you will better spend your time and money learning how to do the content on your own/with a group that doesn't ask to be paid
    Hoping for more playable races

Just don't, you can't be sure that one of the 2 parties is gonna keep their promise, it's completely based on trust, like crown selling. I would honestly just avoid.

Whenever someone spammed the chat with this, I always asked for the price and most of them required unimaginable amount of gold. For new player or returning player like me, this is too much gold to ask for. I'm not a vet with 20mil gold laying in my pocket waiting to spend it. Out of 10 people i asked for price, only one was a bit reasonable and also kind, others.. not so much.

As someone who is struggling to find a proper guild that offers these kind of runs, I say keep searching.. better than wasting your life farming gold. Not to mention trust factor.

At least for pc eu most trials skin/loot runs cost around 3-5 mil, not that much if you ask me. 20 mil is for rare achievements like immortal redeemer or unchained.

I am surprised this is actually allowed in the game as it seems to be highly risky - easy for the person to be scammed & lose a whole lot of gold, and for what?

There are some good guilds out there who do prog groups for trials - mine recently did vMoL & now working on vSS. Maybe if op states platform/server people could suggest some to them. Then they could earn that skin 🙂

Scammy? Offering a service for a price isn't a scam lol. Just because you don't like the prices doesn't make it a scam. There is no deception. There is also nothing forcing you to accept the offer. Although it seems to be the trend here that disagreeing with prices on anything instantly gets sensationalized into a "scam". "Scam" can get thrown into the pile of the other buzzwords like "elitist" and "predatory" that get thrown around until they've lost all meaning here.

From what I have heard, they also want you to give them your account info so they can run it on your character for it but they wont say that in the zone advertisements.

It requires a no death run besides speed etc and someone that doesnt know the content probably wont be able to do that without dying.

It doesn't matter, that still doesn't change the fact that offering a service for a price isn't a scam. You're not entitled to anyone's time or skills, and vice verse.

No. I've never bought or sold a single run. I just get very annoyed by the omega karens on this board that berate others to the point of calling them liars, cheats, and thieves because someone had the audacity to offer something they don't agree with or out of sheer jealously. "Buying/selling these exact items/services for these exact prices" is NOT a scam. If you don't like the price, don't pay it and go about your business.

They're not scams bc you get exactly what is offered. Some sellers might be overpriced for sure, but no carriers have ever taken someone's gold without providing the carry. If that had happened, I guarantee you it would've been blasted here bc so many hate it.

There aren't that many carriers to begin with bc most players can't do it or don't have interest in it, so I think that itself is a check on scamming.

even if i am able to do them myself, i don't find a group that wants to do it. And those that want, are unable to. And those that are able to, won't take me without first providing logs of me actually doing it. Then what's the point to ask for it since i already done it, right?

i am in some groups and guilds that are "progressing" but progress is slow, takes much time and often fails.
it is fun with a group, laugh and all, but people that take things seriously are not taking others without already having them done

It seems shady that prices have to be discussed in discord or elswhere, let's just be transparent with the fees.

If You just want skins and You're playing on PC EU @MalEducado then there is lot of communities that can help You with getting that without charging gold. Except for maybe vCR skin every other skin in the game is not that hard to get these days. You just need a little practice with the group. There are few guilds on PC EU offering veteran runs to everyone with pretty casual friendly atmosphere and for free. At the end You'll decide what to do but it's kinda wierd You've struggled with finding anyone to do trials with during 2 years playtime period

That's what one honest carry run seller told me when I asked him how a not skilled enough player can be carried for Godslayer.

And when I said that they ask for access to your account when a carry seller was having a discussion in chat zone, he told me I was lying.

Imho, people should NEVER give access to their account to anyone. For no reason.

By calling it scammy I meant there's real chance that you will be scammed on this trade, similar to buying crowns with gold. Already know two people who payed for runs and got nothing

It's mostly because you get pulled into the boss fight no matter where you are in the trial, and the same goes for vAS+2 as well. In vCR+3 sales the buyer can just stand on the bridge and not have to worry about getting pulled in unless they get too close to the boss room.
