Console Quality of Life. What do you want?

I am happy to see that we are getting a stat window for our gear. I wanted to see what quality of life console players would like to see from their PC add on counterparts.

There is one thing I personally have wanted for years and it still hasn't made it to consoles.

Gear loadout.

This would benefit end game PvE and PvP tremendously. The amount of time constantly switching between skills and gear for certain encounters is tedious. End game trial guilds would have better leaderboard scores. Players in Cyrodiil would be able to swap between playing solo or playing in a group in the matter of seconds, without having to travel back to the gate to get a desired piece from the bank, not to mention no more stopping to put rapids on your bar.

What are some add ons that you hope finally make it to consoles?

Not sure if it is an add on on PC, but I really want the ability to only search for motifs and plans that I do not know in a guild trader. And also to be able to search only for set pieces I have not collected in my set collections yet.

Definitely gear and skill loadouts. Even something really basic like a PvE/PvP toggle would be huge.

That said, if it's implemented like the outfit system, requiring per-slot and per-character crown store purchases, that would almost be worse than nothing.

Nothing comes to mind that hasn't already been added and is likely to get added.

The only thing I really want is a centralized search for all guild traders instead of having to schlep around everywhere to find crap. It's such a waste of my time. I really doubt they're going to add a master item search directory for guild traders.

Is there anything that makes daily crafting writs less boring? I actually fell asleep the other day while crafting because it's so boring.

I'm going to be radical and ask for all skill point requirements be removed for stuff PC addons give for free. So on console you have to invest many skill points to get crafting nodes to glow while PC just has a free "flax here"addon. So make it free for console too or make PC players invest the points before they can use the addon.

Less radically, I'd like survey locations and treasure maps added to the map once you've found them once.

And more dreaming, I'd like the active dolman to show on the map. And I'd like DLC quest givers to have a different marker.

Why would you care what PC players are doing with addons when it has no tangible affect on what console players are doing without them? The servers are completely separate.

And who invests more than 1 point in "keen eye" passives anyway. Rubedite is bright red, same with Ruby Ash, runestones glow already, as do psijic portals and thieves troves. That leaves plants and cloth fibers. 2 skill points is all you need. You could go for the extra far investment but why would you? I can barely get on my horse without having to dismount to loot some kind of node.

Currently have around 30 extra skill points on my crafter/main character so it's not like I couldn't spare them. But why?

Combat mtx for sure!!!...and yeah gear loadouts (and CP) would be amazing for quick swap during trials.

Along these lines, I'd like toggleable map layers along with the ability to add our own markers.

If I'm in the mood to fish I want to be able to toggle off the layer for all the base UI map markers and toggle on a fishing spot layer. Likewise for treasure chests, crafting nodes, etc. Maybe I want to specialize in just fungi nodes for alchemy... let me have that custom layer. The possibilities here are endless.

And I agree with OP. Once a character finds a treasure map, skyshard, or crafting survey location, that point should be added to that character's zone map.

Stop sticking me in group chat.

It means I have to swap back to guild chat, and then I start losing chat channels.

Please make it an option, like it is with changing zone.

I'd like to be able to open and/or delete multiple pieces of mail at a time. A few hours of PvP leaves me with the task of clearing out "rewards for the worthy" for 20 minutes the next day since you have to go through and open them all individually and then go back through to separately delete each message after you've taken the attachments.
The way the camera zooms in and out as I click on them to delete and then move to the next literally leaves me feeling queazy.

It doesn't bother me of course. Why would what other people spend their skill points on bother me? But for most people it's unnecessary, and the person I was referring to made out like poor console users have to invest tonnes of points into "keen eye" whereas PC users don't have to.

I was pointing out that most people on both platforms don't have to. For those who are hard of sight I am happy they have options to make those nodes clearer. In fact I would go so far as to say the 5-10% of men and <1% of women with color blindness would be better served on PC than console since there are far more options for them.

Better notification that Que for Cyrodiil is Ready. So many times I miss the que while I'm shopping at guild traders or dyeing outfits to kill time.

Filter out known recipes, motifs, sets, etc in guild trader search

A glow around treasure map mounds. This is an accessibility issue in addition to a quality of life. The number of times I have passed around mounds I couldn't see for several minutes over and over before giving up and using a video is too high.

Character loadouts - so skills and gear.

And additional functionality with the banker, to see what other characters have in their inventory and also what is in storage chests. After all, when we decorate a house that pulls from both the bank and chests.

And Reply To mail functionality. Pretty basic stuff.

I’ve actually suggested that the outfit slot utility be changed so that you can use it to switch gear as well and not just outfit style.

Too many people just playing dress-up and just want wardrobe style changes think that it’s not a proper use for it, though.

It’s hard for me to imagine, I like playing the game not sitting in the same zone typing in zone chat and playing with a bunch of emotes all day...

1. Duration action reminders add-on for sure with the ability to see both bars active skills.
2. Better buff and debuff system that we could use and tract what we want to track. Such as when certain sets are active or
on cool down.
3. Dressing room add-on function that would also include the new CP slots for 2.0 version.
4. Option to automatically open containers and take contents.
5. Mini map with the ability to add our own map pins such as survey location and treasure maps ect.
6. Mass filleting of fish.
7. Ability to check what our other characters are carrying with out having to log in and out.
8. Combat matrix
9. Ability to search all guild traders’ inventory and list price and ability to filter known motifs and recipes.
10. Add crafter sets to the collection system so we can see what crafted set does without have to look it up on my phone or
find the set-in game. Not asking to be able to craft them like the current collection system just view them easier.
11. Add what damage type each skill is such as melee, direct.

This so much. Mail is super annoying and the rewards of the worthy add up quickly.
