Keep Getting Logged out on Character Creation

This is a long time bug but I'm a new returning player wanting to start with a fresh character. I'm super frustrated because after I put a lot of time into creating my character I end up getting booted before finalizing the process because I can't find a good name. This gets worse and worse as there are more and more characters and therefore less chances of finding something unique that you like.

I often end up taking some time to google some ideas for a name after trying a few that aren't available. Often while this is happening I'll get logged out and have to start completely from scratch with creation... Also, sometimes it's hard to decide on a name before the character is created because maybe the character design inspires the name.

Is there some workaround for this such as allowing us to save character templates or changing the rules/functionality of how activity is measured during character creation so we have adequate time to figure out a good name for the character? I know not everyone puts so much thought into the names, but it's an extremely important part of character creation for me.

If your name fails, just go into one of the sliders and move back and forth one spot, to keep the instance active, until you are able to find another name. I always suggest using accented letters like í instead of i. It's not even noticable.

Allowing us to save a look locally would not only be a great feature for new players etc. it would also allow veterans to save a specific look before using a token and then swap back to their exact original look later on if they want to spend another token.

The isolated problem of being logged out may not be a problem for veterans, and even for returning players like me I did begrudgingly go back and recreate character and found a name for him; however, anything that makes a new player experience better without too much work should be looked at I think.

@UntilValhalla13 Thanks for the suggestion, and that is something I've tried to do in the past, however it's so easy to go down the rabbit hole if you want to google names. Once you start looking at the culture of races in game and matching it to real life cultures etc., its still easy to lose track of time and get logged out.
