At this point, it would have to start on February 25th.

Events almost always start on a Thursday, and we would have gotten an announcement by now if it was happening tomorrow.

Next Thursday is the last Thursday that the event can start and still be in February.

This gives me hope that Tel Galen and other Morrowind themed items will appear in the March Crown Store showcase!

I'm actually glad that it doesn't seem to start this week. Between family stuff, shifted weekend because of holidays, and Genshin my free time is all over the place

It isn't "closer to February" it in February. A month lasts, you know, the whole month.

would be nice if they also announce them some time ahead, on Steam and on this forum, and better directly in the launcher

So the event ends on 3/9, but we're getting Update 29 with the skill point reset and new CP system on 3/8? Let the wailing and gnashing of teeth begin... :#

Interesting that it's 2 tickets a day instead of 3. Been a few events since it was just 2.

Do you mean lost playtime because of maintenance or sudden troubles with clearing content for the event shinies because of CP?

Just prepare the 2 dailies for the last day in advance and you'll be fine to hand them in without needing CP.

It's safe to assume that having to apply all your skill points and decide how to invest your CP in the new system are going to take time and cause some stress, confusion and potentially uncover new bugs. Add to that the maintenance downtime and you're just asking for people to stress out.

In a perfect world, The Tribunal Celebration should have started today and ended on the 2nd. Moving the Update 29 release out 2 days would also make some people unhappy, but is probably something worth considering.

Can’t remember if you have to have done a few of the main quests before can access the dailies - or will this be by-passed & won’t matter?

And will it include Ashlander dailies or only ones from the Halls of Justice?

The boss and delve dailies are available without needing to do any other quests. The Crow (CwC) and Ashlander (Vvardenfell) dailies require you to do some questing to unlock.

But you can’t normally get into the City without doing a couple of quests from the main questline - will this just be ignored?

As long as you have access to the DLC/chapter, the Clockwork Crossroads and Seyda Neen Wayshrines will be unlocked for you without doing any questing. From there, there's nothing blocking you from entering Brass Fortress or Vivec City and getting to the daily quest givers.

Yeah I think they removed any requirement for the city for the last clockwork event.

You have to do some of the main quest, not sure if this is required for sharing quests.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

In Vvardenfell, you used to have to do a couple of the opening quests, but they dropped that requirement so now you only need to read the wall poster outside Halls of Justice and then talk to the guy inside.

I believe Ashlander still requires some questing to unlock, but should be included (along with the Crow quests in CwC).

    Ok, I see.
Personally, I'm going to save some dailies for turning in before the update release and turn some in before maintenance, just in case, but I realise that not everyone has that option.
As for skills and CP, I don't think I'm going to farm on more than two characters and it's my main, for whom I know what I need to pick, and another char, for whom it's no big deal, as his build isn't completed yet.

The event is for Summerset and Clockwork City. You're thinking of Vvardenfell.. In Vvardenfell, you used to have to do a couple of the opening quests, but they dropped that requirement so now you only need to read the wall poster outside Halls of Justice and then talk to the guy inside.

But for the Tribunal Celebration event (Summerset and Clockwork City), there is no questing requirement to get the dailies for bosses and delves. As I stated, you do have to do some questing to unlock the Geyser and Crow dailies.

The Tribunal Celebration is for Morrowind and Clockwork City.

Hence the "Tribunal" aspect of the name. As in the Tribunal including Almalexia, Vivec, and Sotha Sil? The current gods of the Dunmer? Who mostly live in and around Morrowind?

Summerset is not involved at all, seeing as that's where the Altmer live.

OMG...I need more coffee o\ Sorry...

Well at least my advice on the requirements to unlock the Vvardenfell dailies was correct B)

You still have to unlock the vvardenfell ashlander dailies by doing the (Hleran?) quest at the camp, then go north to pick up quest to go back to ashlander camp, upon turn in the ashlander dailies are available.

My memory of the Clockwork City dailies is that the world boss and Slag town dailies are unlocked with no prerequisites. Both involve some collecting of items/kills out in the world that may put one in competition with other players. The crow dailies require significant progression of the zone quest. The delve dailies unlock when you have completed the quest for one or the other delve (you will only get dailies that take you to the delve you have completed).

Ta for the replies, but still unclear as to whether you have to have done the 2/3 bits of the main quest in Clockwork City that allow characters to enter the city.
There was no other way to get in to the City & therefore access the dailies (unless travel to another player).
Does the event now over-ride that? Bit silly if does as then mucks up doing the actual questline there....

I don't think you have to do any quests to get into the city. Yes, the text of the quests suggests that you do, but I think I've taken most of my characters into the city (for the transmute station if nothing else) without doing any zone questing.

Hyperbole aside, closer to between 10-14.
