Nobility titles — basis for the future mechanics?

Now we have four noble titles available through the house purchaising and some from the chapters. As it for now titles do not serve for anything but markers of player's progress and RP maybe, BUT... I can understand those titles that related with achieving of a success at some activities, and don't understand the connection between buying a house and a noble title! Do ZOS have/had an idea of adding governing system for those players who complited aliance's quest at 100% (condition to buy estates)? Maybe relate it to the alliance war and conquering?

Never quite got the title thing but as to "the connection between buying a house and a noble title." Errr you do realise that the vast majority of noble titles were purchased in the past right. You bunged the king / PM some cash, bought yourself an estate and voila, lord muck muck. The only requirements were that you were filthy rich and didn't have too many moral scruples about spreading it around. ESO seems about right to me. Obviously in earlier times, you'd pop over, murder the current the land owner, intimidate his peasants and then bung the king some cash / fealty to sort of make it legit. But same difference.
