the developers twisted the Lore to fit this game so people would play the way the developers wanted us to play eso.

I'd like some if that CHIM you're smoking, because if we're playing the thought-game by which the Tribunal are all-powerful and able to immediately banish all threats, let's just say that ESO ain't the only Elder Scrolls game that shouldn't exist.

Of course EP will win because of skyrim and oblvion fans. But if we are talking about the game itself, then its all DC. In both having the best zones and the only true alliance with a just cause of just wanting to restore peace and roder. Whereas AD just wants to make elves rule tamriel because they are smarter than everyone and EP just want to defend their homelands and not really rule at all.

Dominion all the way. The alliance story in my view is just much more cohesive and compelling than the other two. Plus Summerset added to its greatness even if not strictly part of the alliance story. Personally I prefer the aesthetics of the AD zones too, I’m not a fan of snowy mountains or volcanos

I started with an AD character and have worked for the Queen since. I didn't really think I'd have any interest in pvp so didn't bother with the 'any race, any alliance' pack so my characters are scattered in all three alliances. They all fight equally hard for their respective alliances.
I did consider getting the 'any race, any alliance' when it was on sale in Midyear Mayhem but I'd have a lot of characters to change and it would be extremely expensive so unless I get a lot more serious about pvp it's not going to be what I spend my crowns on, especially since I like housing.
I did wonder how I can role play also how my characters have homes in the opposite alliances zones but I guess some already are as I have it now and I just made reasons for them.

Beware of the Eagle's cry. Although Nord is my main its mainly for the fact I fell in love for Skyrim,its people,lore,setting and Dragornborn thanks to legendary success of TESV

However things have changed over time. Cats&Elves Dominion has it all as few other have mentioned as been Aesthetically pleasing etc I have already explained why I am so fond in my LORE thread of Altmer and I always shall be so by Xarxes bones! But that does not mean I do not have interest for other factions ,quite contrary Pact is 2nd closely followed by Epic Nords,Dunmer that I find personally very intriguing. A thread reserved for near future.

Meanwhile in High Rock,Covenant is the weakest link. Excluding Redguards who are sole saviors primarily regarding their incredible lore,Sword-singers,Yokuda and one of my favorite characters, Sai-Sahan, it puts Orcs near very bottom and I have absolutely zero interest in Bretons as worst race for me aiming at lore,appearance and personality wise. They are ugly,bland and boring as Coral Mud Crabs. Some Argonians can be funny and their Swamp lands are mysterious to explore, I have to add them bonus with Murkmire storyline too. Orcs have also nothing, they respect strength and I view them as brutish barbaric beasts coming on 2nd place with ugliness.Argonians on top. I cannot stand playing as one.I felt nothing really ,conversations with orcs are almost always "yawn" with maybe very very few exceptions,even if I Orsinium story proves to be fine that wont erase my statement on how much I dislike Covenant. Admit it or not physical appearance mattes a lot for a player.

Also to note that Dominion is NOT without flaws as well, Bosmer are least interesting and primitive to my taste so are superstitious Argonians for pact,but even Lizard-Folk sparked my curiosity to much higher extent than Bretons&Orcs. Khajit tend to get ENORMOUS amount of positive praise, but that is only because they resemble cats and we know howt the love for felines or canines. I grew fond of them far more after Season of the Dragon storyline and when I learned about their religion,land and how diverse they are, some of the funniest and wisest dialogue came from cats and they ridiculously adorable,etc etc

It goes as following:

Altmer by far from Dominion - Khajit - Bosmer
Nords,closely followed by Dunmer and Argonians at the bottom of barrel.
Redguards - Orcs - Bretons in deepest pit of Coldharbour


P.S Important: Let us not compare or to be confused with the portrayal of races in TES series to ESO, We are talking about Millennia of timeline difference and overall it wont be fair. Nords as greatest example. After all the more you play and familiarize yourself the more you will notice little differences. Even I will say it that Nords became overrated because of TESV Skyrim/Dragonborn, While you may think its on first glance very similar in some regards ultimately tis entirely contrasting journey to experience Original Skyrim to ESO version, its not even worthy and completely silly to even start comparing it at all.

I truly loved the Reapers part of Cadwell's Silver (on my Redguard Main). That was - a real heart-rending tear-jerker for me.... I enjoyed the other zone parts as well, but Reapers.... *tears*

As for volcanoes, yeah - not into all that lava. And while I love snow (especially IRL), I don't really have any use for this game's versions of Skyrim....

That literally makes no sense. The Tribunal are hardly around much to govern everyday affairs or get involved with every threat. Most they would consider to not even be worth their time unless it threatened all of Morrowind or Tamriel on an existential level. They travel a lot, meditate, go to and fro from Oblivion and are home for long periods of time. The fact that they would be around constantly to swat down every threat with the flick of their wrist shows a lack of understanding about who they are. Do they have the power to do that? Yes. Will they actually go around doing it all the time? No. By that logic there would have been no need to join Tiber Septim and the Empire cause they could have simply wiped him out when he set his sights on Morrowind. Alliances serve as a benefit and serve a purpose when the Gods want their attention diverted elsewhere without distraction. The Pact serves a purpose just like joining the Empire and surrendering to Tiber Septim served a purpose.

Mostly I like the Pact for their story. They're the only one of the alliances that aren't trying to take over and rule over the others. And despite the Aldmeri Queen being more tolerant or at least pretending to be most of the Altmer are quite racist and view other races as 'lesser' and think only an Altmer could rule. I like the Pact because they just basically want to be independent nations and not have the others ruling over them which seems fair.

EP for sure. The zones seem to have a lot more going on in terms of repelling invasions from the other two alliances, rather than some handful of enemy alliance NPCs being in a small zone or random delve.

It's there for Cyrodiil PvP and which area you pick up main/mages and fighters guild quests now with One Tamriel.
Other than that, it is a mercenary lifestyle pretty much.
