Have you pre-ordered the Blackwood Expansion?

I'm just curious to see how many people have pre-ordered the new expansion.

I haven't noticed a lot of the Nagahide mounts running around. And while this makes me feel like a special unicorn, it makes me wonder how many people have already purchased the expansion.

I've pre-ordered every expansion for this game since they've been a thing.

I won't consider a pre-order until there's at least more information out about the companion system.

There are a number of reasons for that, but they're related to why I won't be subscribing to the game anymore either. I've had it with this game crap-smelling monetization racket and it's gotten so much worse over the past couple years I'm done looking the other way because they otherwise produce solid and interesting content. Considering I enjoy questing in zones far more when there aren't tons of players around, I may not bother getting the expansion until it goes on sale. At that point, I can basically get it for free through Microsoft rewards program.

I waited on Greymoor because it looked disappointing and small in content for a chapter (Also, meh Skyrim). Which got proven near release, so I only got it afterwards when it was on sale because I wasn't going to pay full price for it.

Same with Blackwood. I'm worried it will be just as much or even less, so I will wait and see closer to release. Despite me liking imperials and argonians a lot I'm not feeling that excited with the focus on Mehrunes Dagon, and Leyawiin looked disappointing to me because many of the issues Oblivion's had isn't fixed.

Probably not that many Nagahide mounts are running around because they are terrible to ride. Unless you like seasickness.

I don't usually get the collector's editions but I figured why the hell not. Gave the Nagahide mount to my Argonian Necro tank, who I still need to get around to levelling. So you wouldn't see mine running around much.

Wait for sale. Elsweyr was the only chapter I pre ordered, and it followed the original price structure.

Chapter + new class = €40 (Morrowind and Elsweyr)
Chapter alone = €30 (Summerset)

Greymoor changed this structure, so no more paying full price for less content.

I may buy it at release or I may wait awhile. If they do something like the event in Greymoor, I'll get it at release. If no event, it can wait until I run out of content. If it had been just Imperials, I'd have preordered the CE - but I don't have any use for argonians, so....

I might pre-order it later on but there was no option for that.

I'm definitely waiting until after the lava-bear is removed (which is in March I think). After that it's a matter of whether I can find somewhere selling it for a reasonable price. £33 is a lot for what you get, and I still haven't got Markath so I'm not in a hurry for new content, but I do like the welwa mount. If I can find somewhere selling it for around £20 or less I'll get it.

If not I'll wait until it does go on sale.

After pre-ordering every chapter before Greymoor, I didn't pre-order Greymoor. My experiences since have confirmed to me that this decision was the correct one.

I will see how Blackwood goes based on the information we are actually given.

I'll order it, just not yet - though I noticed this is the first time the upgrade has shown up on the PS Store. Every other year I've had to purchase it off the PS website.
$60AUD is a lot though, every year, when I'm already paying almost $20 pm for ESO+.

If it wasn't Oblivion maybe I'd wait for a sale.

I'm a huge Oblivion fanboy so this was an easy buy for me.

Not sure what to make of the companion system yet... Lets see how it works out.

I typically always order the digital collector's upgrade... usually just for the extras. Adding another cat mount to my list was a no brainer.

Pre-ordered every xpac through Greymoor. Greymoor wasn’t worth the full price. In fact, Western Skyrim is the only zone in the game I didn’t 100%. Not even close to it.

Need more info at this time, but if the next chapter looks to be of the same lower quality I’ll wait for it to go on sale or skip it altogether.

I know I'm gonna buy it eventually just to stay current with the game, and personally I'd rather pay real money now than crowns later (even if it does work out slightly cheaper that way). ZOS wants to give me bonuses for something I was going to do anyway, so why not? It's more convenience-motivated for me, rather than any kind of impulse or temptation thing, though. Now it's done, and I don't need to think about it again.

Unfortunately, though, I am a sucker for Outfit styles... so they roped me into the Collector's Edition. I don't care a whole lot for the mounts and pets and other whatnots on offer, so it's a bit steep in that regard.

I don't know of any Blackwood "expansion", I know of the Blackwood discount DLC minor content patch that should be free with ESO+.

Yeah I almost got collectors edition but I couldn’t tell what that outfit style looked like. All we got was a small, slightly blurry picture. I wish they’d show actual large pictures of this content.

Currently don't plan on getting it until it goes on sale.

Mostly just disappointed in the lack of new skill lines and the current state of imbalance in pvp.

Greymoor was just an extended version of its prolog was really disappointed in its story.

If it had looked like an actual welwa like those we see in the game, I would have been tempted to get the chapter for that.
