Will Blackwood NPCs recognize Imperial characters?

Wondering if they're going to do this this time. I haven't found anyone in all of Tamriel that currently does, including Gold Coast, Cyrodiil, and Imperial City.

When playing as an Argonian, Argonians all over would recognize my player's race - call me "egg-brother" and the like. Places like Murkmire especially. There are even NPCs who recognize your character's sex, like that one quest in Deshaan with the Ghost Snake. But as an Imperial, there's nothing.

You know, I was going to say I've never noticed...

But I play as an Imperial.

    Huh.

    Another real question ...

Will Imperial NPCs have same comments of Breton NPCs? I have always found it strange that the Kvatch guards speak badly about the legionaries of Bangkorai like bretons...

Those voices are all over the place. Sometimes the comments aren't even the same voice actor as the dialogue. lol

Considering vampire characters didn't notice you in Greymoor, I think it's safe to say that this place won't recognize if you're an imperial.

But they did notice you... not all of them and not always but some did. For example when Lyris finds out about Fennorian there is different dialogue if you are a vampire yourself I think.

Imperials are ugly. That cinematic char from reveal trailer looked like a man seriously, Such a turn off. She looks to manly and hair ,eeh. She is portrayed as a common ruffian, scoundrel or a
brigand from a local forest. Not someone coming from Noble Imperial family for instance. Mace makes it even more brutish. Mace is not a true warrior weapon.

Either Two-handed sword or Dual swords more elegant choice but if you read one book. Author described why swords are best all around weapon, particularly two handed version.

In the Na-Tombatu Public Dungeon, if you are a Redguard, the last boss will acknowledge you as worthy to access the archive (bypassing the final challenge).

Also in the Alik’r: a captain on the Sentinel Docks says something along lines of “Though you are Redguard, you are not from the Alik’r. So, there is no fear of being cursed for striking down the honored dead.”

Those are the two I remember.

And I guess Millineth (the person who gives the intro to writs) will somewhat acknowledge your race when she describes your races crafting material.

And here we are back to the old discussion ... female warriors must look "attractive" of course. Why? Apart from the fact that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and does not just depend on external appearances.

    Yes

Summerset NPCs are delightful if you are a High Elf

From its chef to a banker, they are all like "Friend High elf!"
"I am glad an Altmer graced my establishment." etc :D

But if you are another race they might ask you curious questions or might show a distaste

I was surprised when my Imperial friend complained of NPC attitudes actually because I was like "What do you mean they are so adorable?" :D

Its not about fixing hair. Altmer do not appear as "dolls" Tis typical misconception! Smashing! Envy for superior gorgeousness. How can manlet Imperial compare to supremely High Kin Lady Estre for instance.

Altmer do not need to maintain their looks so much for they are naturally beautiful. That mini Mammoth Imperial is laughable.

We can go other way. Even if they obsess over their looks they are far greater in skill, intellect and appearance so your post is counterintuitive.

Short answer: Envyy for my High Kin Ladies of Summerset and Auridon.

Regarding skill, intellect and in terms of their level of civilizational development or civilizational achievements, the Imperials are not so far from the Altmer in my opinion. But visually I also find them more appealing, more interesting.

Wow, one whole line of dialogue. That's certainly the immersion we've been looking for. I knew she said something about it, I was mainly referring to fellow vampire characters. I also don't think I'd give them that much praise for 1 unique dialogue that deals with Lyrics and you being a vampire.

I also love it when the big vampire bad guy doesn't have any unique dialogue options for if you're a vamp too. Or how none of the vamp NPCs you speak with comment on it.

Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. I don't think altmer are that good looking, and find both female and male imperials attractive. As for the rest, tone down on the "roleplay" on the forum will you, please? You ain't an altmer in real life.

That will totally throw a person RPing their Redguard as being from the Alik'r out of their immersion lol

It could be either/or. We have two examples to draw from. Another one is Summerset, where you are recognized if you're Altmer. Given that Imperial is an actual race in the game unlike vampire, the same standard may not apply. We'll see.

I thought she was supposed to be Aeliah Renmus from Senchal at first. Then she headbutted one of the MASKED cultists straight out and began tearing *** up with her mace and I was like nah, Aeliah wasn't that badass.

Most of them will call you an impure or outsider, even if they acknowledge you as an altmer. They treat you only a bit better. Altmers from other places such as Murkmire and Elsewyr will treat you as an equal.

Some of them obviously have cabin fever of sorts and are overly excited that you're NOT a High Elf. Like the woman banker in Alinor who's always trying to get you in the sack

They better have that sort of dialogue recognition mostly because at the end of the day the Vestige had to have come from somewhere in Tamriel, if your recognized as an outsider no matter where in Tamriel you go it would not really make sense.

Can hope so, and it is likely.

Remember when I did all the base game zones on my bosmer, and there was so many comments from npcs about them (The majority not nice) told to her face. No recognition whatsoever, which is very standard in the base game. Meanwhile in the dlcs/chapters there has been plenty of recognition, even from minor NPCs. Like for example the bosmer chef in Alinor's crafting area. She gets happy seeing another bosmer.

This is pretty standard no matter what race you are. Base game's race or werewolf/vampire recognition can likely be counted on one hand, while the dlcs has been a lot better. Would be a nice change for my imperials. They get to hear so many insults towards their people when questing, and no one bats an eye, making it quite immersion breaking.
