Antiquity Bug

So for the past several months about every other antiquity that I attempt to dig up the game completely freezes just as it is uncovered. I then have to back out, start a different game and then relog to get the game to respond. Occasionally it will do this repeatedly if I attempt to dig the antiquity again. I was just wondering if this is happening to anyone else. I'm on Xbox NA

Not joking or being snarky here, but: Have you tried turning it off and on again? Better yet, fully unplugging it, attempting to turn it on (yes, really -- while unplugged), plugging it back in and then turning it on?

It might sound dumb, but you'd be surprised how often a hard reset fixes these sort of minor hiccups. A power cycle is good, but a full unplug should clear the cache and all (according to my 45 seconds of Googling) which is generally better.

Yes, this is a significant issue at the moment (same console, same platform). I started leveling antiquities on another character and crashed... a lot. This wasn't a problem when Greymoor launched, but now? For some reason it is. I'd wager it's a known issue; I'd check the bug reports area and either bump a thread or create a new one.

Yep. As of the last patch U28, this is extremely prominent problem on Xbox NA at least. Sometimes 5 in a row will do it where I will have to reboot the game.

Antiquities is very bugged. I get the same issue as you, but I find if I just leave it a few minutesit will eventually correct itself. I also get the error where it breaks the UI and I have to /reloadui

Can confirm, I have the same issue. Also, at least for me, it tends to break more often when I dig out golden antiquities.

I have tried the hard reset, no luck there, but thanks for the advice.

Since Greymoor I have farmed Arteum green and blue leads on an alt for several hours at a time with no issue. Until your post I'd never really considered it is only golden antiquities that cause the crash.

It isn't only golden ones. As mentioned, my recent experiences were while leveling antiquities on another character. They cannot scry or excavate golden leads. Which means I've been crashing on green/blue/purple. I couldn't tell you the ratio because I wasn't really keeping track, but this problem definitely transcends gold leads.
