I just went out and bought a set of Elf Bane from Vlastarus vendor....guess I need to read the patch notes more closely., maybe I can still sell the pieces!~!!

It still works in combat. Seventh Legion was definitely often activated outside of combat, but for Elf Bane it's a much smaller difference
