Should ESO add a new skill line to all classes?

With some discussion on skill lines and classes I had a thought and wanted to ask your thoughts.

Should ESO add a skill line for each of the existing classes in an expansion?
(Or would you rather it be a base game update) or not at all?

In this hypothetical scenario what class thematic specific skills could you see added? How would you prefer them implemented?

Please, no more skills... It's very frustrating choosing from so many skills when we can only slot 12. Other games have fewer skills available to choose from while allowing more skills to be slotted. No more please.

3 skill lines per class is more than enough.

Should ZOS add more skills and passives I need to grind? Nope, no thank you. I'm already not looking forward to the grind to 2,000 CP after next patch.

New classes are built of the design philosophy of the role trinity - damage dealing (dps), damage mitigation (tanking), and damage removal (healing). To some degree, the original four classes have been revised to better conform to this design philosophy as well. Introducing a fourth skill tree suggests the creation of a n ew role. What is that role?

The only thing that comes to mind is damage control (support), which is things like stun, charm, fear, buffs, and debuffs. However, that is already covered under the current system. What would it look like to change all existing classes to include a damage control skill tree?

yet another CP horizontal progression aspect I had hoped for.. the ability to 'buy" a skill for CPs from another class line (Ie. clanfear on a NB, SAP ESSENCE on a SORC, etc.). Sorta the ESo version of multiclassing.

Not sure how the passives would work.. But maybe we would slot only a limited number of passives total.

Do you have any idea how many unused Skill Points I have? A lot. There are only so many useful skills. Even my multi craft crafters have extra.

Yes. Or give magicka another offensive weapon choice. Preferably both of those things.

    But don't hold your breath.

How about what is already in the game gets balanced first?

No. It makes the imbalance problem even worse, especially PvP... Imagine Stamdens can streak or cloak in PvP.
No improvement on Cyrodill servers -> no ESO plus renewal.

I dont think now is a good time for any new combat related things. I want to see zos refine what we have and add back some of the uniqueness that was stripped out with balance standards.

After that I think a new weapon skill line would be nice, I want to see onehand and magic at some point but not for awhile.

As for a combat there are enough skills, at least for the sorcerer. But with the companions adding, it may need (and probably will be) extra panel for their control. "Combat orders" or something like that.
Not long ago I though that ZOSs will add somthing like "God level system" for those who have reached cap of CP, with it's god skills or something. But now they clearly state that their goal for CP system is to save horizontal progression rather then vertical. Same logic should be apply to other systems.
P.S. By the way, there are still plenty of work on the existing, but useless skills, such as half of the Psijic skill line.
