Queue times

After more than an hour in the queue for random normal dungeon as dps, I was wondering if it was a bug or if the queue was really taking long, I didn't want to leave because I thought "if it's long I'm just going back to end of the queue, and I will lose even more time, if it is a bug I can report later". Then around 1h20min in the queue, the instance finally started. Good, probably was not bugged, only took a lot of time, i know this happens as dps, even though never took that long but in the end i did my daily random.

Then I changed characters, logged in my healer and thought "it must be a dps problem, I'm going to queue here and it will be instant with my healer as it happens every day". No, I've been in queue as a healer for 1 hour and 41 minutes right now.

Is the queue really that bad right now? Even as healer?

I tried to open a support ticket in game just now but it is so character limited, almost a tweet size, that it made me angry and i came to the forum.

Update: 1h46min was what it took to finally be ready, as healer. The tank is fake, and it's a dlc dungeon.

In my experience random normal was an 15-20 minute for DD. If its so long you have queue problems.
Leaving queue and re joining will help.

Other tips, grouping up with at least one other, even another DD reduce queues a lot as it looks like groups get an fast track
Magic build, well have an healing staff on hand and you are an healer.

I tend to only run randoms in guild groups perhaps with the odd random if short.

The group finder has a bugged queue sometimes so you have to leave queue and reenter it. I use the following as a rule during peak:

• Tank = 1 minute
• Healer = 3 minutes
• DPS = 7 minutes
• Battlegrounds = 5 minutes

At the deadest time on my server that i play ( about midnight is the latest i queue):

• Tank = 2 minutes
• Healer= 5 minutes
• DPS = 20 minutes
• Battlegrounds =15 minutes.

I never requeue more than twice and usually once is enough.

I've noticed it too. I was queued for Vet pledges on my Tank and nothing. Didn't pop for over an hour. Same thing happened on my Healer for Vet pledges. Over an hour wait.

Group finder is not working well now. I was grouped with 2 guildies the other night for randoms. We were tank, healer and dps. 20 minutes in we gave up on that composition and went tank and 2 dps and got immediate dungeons.

It's definitely still broken, though I tihnk less than before for dungeons. As I mostly tank and sometimes heal it's very very noticable. The problem where it didn't queue you as a complete four seems to have been fixed for the most part

Battlegrounds queueing is totally busted in the event. I've been in teams of 2, added half way through a game to an empty team and all sorts of nonsense.

Queue for pledges as DPS: 20-30 minutes. And after half an hour end up with fake tank.

All that time in the queue and you failed to find guild finder so you can play an MMO with other people without queueing with randoms?

Tanks have very little wait times because they encompass a minority of endgame players while the majority prefer dps

Have chars on both NA and EU. All main heal. Random normals pop almost immediately, though in the last three days they have been a bit slower, and I have seen one actual real tank. All rest were dds. This was in over 25 random normals.

In random vets, I cued 14 times and same results, though actual tanks were about 5. A bit tiresome to constantly carry groups as a healer, especially DLC vets with no reals tanks, but I deal with it.

Cue wait times for dds need adjusting so they are not constantly jumping cue in tank's role just to get a stupid daily finished.

It's bugged passed 15 mins waiting a healer. You want to quite and start again.
