Mother Ciannait is working as intented or bug?

It say while in combat, channeling a spell will grant u damage shield and YES. When i cast mist form it grant shield, but maintain in that form doesnt provide any shield any more. Is this bug?

Maintaining is not casting. When you cast you get shield for 6 seconds. After that you need to cast again.

Light of cyrodiil : 5 items: While you are casting or channeling an ability, your damage taken is reduced by 15%. When you are interrupted, your next Magicka Ability will cost no Magicka.
If i maintain mist form when use this set, i will get 15% perma dmg reduction. But it's weird when i dont get shield every 6 second when using mother ciannait

Light of Cyrodiil: "while casting or channeling", meaning for the whole channel duration
Mother Ciannait: just "casting or channeling", meaning once when cast

Don't bother though, this set has been bugged since it was added and no fixes.
