I combined 10 bones and got nothing!

You should have gotten a runebox from it to then use to acquire the pet. Nothing in your inventory?

yes I forgot about it, thanks. I thought he would just appear as an indrik.

The same thing happened to me. I combined the bones while in Cyrodiil and thought maybe it was glitched. It wasn't until later that I noticed I had a runebox.

Don't forget to bank your additional fragments so you can let an alt character from a different alliance combine them-- that is, if you want to collect all 3 versions.
