How do they get an olorime proc if they're wearing sanctuary and hiti?

This is an exact copypasta of a post on reddit, from a pretty new account, from yesterday or the day before. Are you trolling or do you think this is a good way to farm karma and agrees?

But the random mutagen and breath is enough healing right?

I have to ask why do you care?
It's a game everyone is trying to have fun in their on way. If they do their best then that should be enough and they shouldn't need to know every nut and bolt of the game to join in.

Except DPS players of course, screw them, we can criticize them and *** about them all we want. Just look at this forum and reddit, every other post complaining about pugs are targeted at dps players.

While complaining about pug tanks and healers is a literal sin apparently? Except fake tanks/healers of course, but that's just complaining about dps players in another way.

Lol, I recognized myself from 3 years ago xD I used sanctuary, barely used combat prayer, and jusr spammed radiant regen when others fought mobs, not even orbs. In my defence, there are no good ingame guides for healers, and in many other games, healers do just that: they heal. But around 3 years ago, I read some forums, some guides, and started improving. I found a good guild, good friends, and I tried to become best healer possible for them. You just do not want to improve for some toxic strangers you see once for 15 mins. Constant party changes perspective.
Also hilarious newbie mistake- wear pve traited sanctuary in cyro, thinking "heals are heals, I'll be doing fine". Then I wondered, why everyone killed me, and only me.

My experience with many PUG healers:

Stand in the corner still as a mouse.

When they HAVE to do something this is their rotation:

    Regeneration-Heavy attack

    ......

    Profit.

There's some epic game changing healers out there but the average pug healer... is not good lol.

You can say that about literally everything that isn't food in your mouth and a bed to sleep in.

By that logic why not just close down the forum so we can all do something more productive with our time..

Yes, because main problem in the game is healers who heal :)

You poor thing; you have to play the game with other people, people who want to play how they like to but also while being a team player and supporting you. The humanity.

You rarely see real tanks and healers wearing support sets, buff/debuff in pug dungeons because the group damage is so low that theres simply nothing to buff. As a healer why should I buff someone's 10k dps for extra 1-2k if I can just do 40k myself. Hmm, wonder which helps the group more.
When I queue as tank for random vet, I'm actually real tank waring support sets. But if group dps is not even 20k then I swap gear and dps instead, unless it's a dungeon that requires real tank. In that case I just leave.

I agree.. what I dislike the most is when healers throw orb at the beginning and later in mid fight there ain't any buffs or orbs.

I also think that nowadays dps get the most blame in pugs when something is not right.
"our dps is bad", "not enough damage", or just straight leaving because we didn't "nuke" the boss in 2 seconds. Meanwhile I have to spam self heal and run away from boss and unable to perform my rotation. Giving any criticism about healers or tanks is apparently forbidden.

    Way to over-generalize ..

I PUG/DF all the time, and the vast majority of healers I run with are great.
A little less in normal than in vet, sure .. but that's only natural.

Again with the dps bashing, on a thread about healers no less......Guess dps players are punching bags in this game.

    • I have SPC but not Olo (I don't do trials).
    • I rely on Radiating Regeneration for the required overheals.
    • Since I'm keeping that up, I wear Earthgore, to do some emergency healing before I get around to it. (It procs most commonly when a DD starts a fight by Leroying into trash.)
    • I RARELY cast any kind of burst heal, Combat Prayer buffs excepted.
    • I slot Combat Prayer. If the DDs are good, I actually cst it in rotation.
    • I use a Magickasteal skill on bosses.
    • I do about half the personal DPS I could with a full build and rotation.
    • My damage rotation includes orbs or shards.

I don't get the sense that my PUGmates view me as anything unusual or special.

Only when the tank doesn't or can't hold taunt.

This is me when I was starting out with heals. I just spammed all the shiny random healer things I crammed on my skill bars bc the description said heals. My usual roles were tank or DPS.

I look back now and see how overkill all my spamming was, but at the time, no one ever died due to lack of heals except the times I forgot I was the healer and started DPSing or doing tank things like charging ahead of everyone and pulling an entire area of adds and starting boss fights.
