Neutralize skills in the area after you go up the ladder to Imperial City

The entire area where you climb up the ladder has to be skill neutralized. Getting sniped out of nowhere while just passing by is infuriating. They should NOT be able to attack you while they themselves are safe!!

    This is one of my 2 pain points in IC, second one being no real risk gives reward, for example a fight between 2 people, one with 0 telvar, other with 100k telvar. One takes the risk. Other takes the reward

    The last bit could be solved if the maximum amount of telvar you could get from killing someone were the amount you are carrying yourself.

    it's called platform fishing...platforms used to have the alliance skill line reach passive apply so you could reach out even further...

    there are a couple of platforms for each alliance that have really good spots to burst targets from range...

    What's the difference between someone killing you by sniping from afar versus killing you from up close? I've seen players on the so-called safe platforms killed from afar by players down below. It sounds like someone wants to do all the killing but has a hissy fit if they themselves get killed. Get over it; do you know how many times I've been killed in IC this week?

    As for losing half of 100k TV, that might stink, but it's really on you for carrying that much around in the first place instead of banking it. And where did you get that much in the first place? Because if it was raken off of other players that you killed, then turn about is fair play.

    My reply taken from another thread. There are a few things I would like to see changed in the Imperial City:
    1: Nightblades from stealth are too powerful. It is ok if they manage to kill someone quickly, but they should not be able to re-stealth if they fail! Place a 10 second cooldown on re-stealthing, to make this fair and give players the chance to fight back.
    2: Most sorcerers and dragonknights seem unkillable for the most part. Like not even taking damage unkillable, change this! Every other class takes damage, but for some reason they do not. And barely take damage once you get through their shields. They are also the only ones I ever see walking around with the blue beam(4k+ tel var).
    3: Mist form should not be allowed, a 75% damage reduction is completely unfair and basically a get-out-of-jail-free card when you are losing.
    4: Sorcerers teleport should have a 5 second cooldown, being safe because they can zoom around the zone isn't fair at all.
    5: Change the mages guild skill magelight and it's morphs to show EVERY invisible player as regular players for it's duration.

    They are far from safe, and the fact they think they are makes them even more vulnerable. Wear VD, take out the squishiest guy on the platform and watch them all drop dead, its a hoot, especially this past weekend when there was like 40 of them packed up there sniping passerbys.
