Crash to desktop when character switching

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the game always crashing to desktop when you click "Log out" to switch characters? I'm not experiencing any in game crashes at the moment, just this. I've tried running with all addons removed but it made no difference.

When did this crash first start happening?

Have you tried repairing game files or reinstalling yet?

@ZOS_BillE , Thank you for your response.

It started at the beginning of December but was not very frequent and I was having crashes during dungeons and trials so thought it was just part of that. The crashes during game content are no longer happening but during January the frequency of these "log out" crashes has increased massively.

I have run the repair on the game files, but I haven't reinstalled yet, though I'm guessing that's going to be my next thing?

Yes, reinstalling is the next step to try if repairing the game files has not helped.

@ZOS_BillE , I did a reinstall of the game last night but unfortunately the game still crashed to desktop when I logged in and and then clicked log out. I suppose it's not the end of the world as I'm not crashing during content, it's just annoying.

Thank you for the update. Since reinstalling has not helped resolve the crashing, you should open a ticket with customer support if you've not done so yet.
