Textures are not loading quickly enough... Any way around it?

Textures are really bad when I come close to NPC or players and it takes 3 seconds for them to get better...

Any way around it?

Looks like your graphics card or drivers.

i will try a fresh clean re install of the lates nvidia drivers and see if its works

In your user settings in your eso live folder change the following.
SET MIP_LOAD_SKIP_LEVELS "0" to
SET MIP_LOAD_SKIP_LEVELS "-3"

This will greatly improve the load time of the textures. I have been using this for years now.

Note that if your graphics card or system is not up to it, they will not be happy with this change and performance will suffer.

Just did a fresh clean driver install

Removed all the addons folders and deleted the cache cooked folder but it did nothing

I actually did that reading it from an old 2016 forum.. and it did nothing...

But I tried it again and it worked...

but I think I took a FPS hit usually at 3440 x 1440 I am around 115 fps now its around 103

LD cant be happier though ;d

Ty a lot this has been stupid annoying.

had this issue on xbox one S, sometimes other players were not rendered at all, just black silhouettes.

Solution was to attach an external SSD and move the game there, so assets get loaded much quicker than from the slow internal harddrive.
Cities look more detailed too, now, as also they use low-res placeholder textures when loadtimes are bad.
