on ps4 EU, the dominion are incredibily shallow, camping alliance bases with huge zergs. it's incredibily off putting if that's how they do pvp.

Yeah I dont really buy the whole Geneva Conventionthing. If people want to kill themselves I really dont care how they do it. As if Poison is any less murdery than a bullet.

Yes, but the Geneva convention is supposed to protect civilians from being slaughtered, prisoners from being tortured and soldiers from being subjected to needless suffering. I see your point, war is terrible no matter what. And sadly it seems like many countries don't/didn't take the rules very seriously.

I thought the Pact was The Big Evil? Except when it's the Dominion, of course. It just alternates between those two, while I crouch in stealth atop a tall platform, feeling very Blue as I watch a huge wave of what looks like a hundredish Yellow or Red players swarming through the districts.

I think a bunch of red players switched to yellow this campaign.
AD have been 3rd place every campaign for a while and now they seem to always have people in Cyrodiil to get those points ticking.

I know, shocking, right? But they aren't teaming, they're teeming-- like waves of army ants devouring everything in their path.

It's not that one alliance does that and the others don't. It's the only time you see your own alliance spawn camping, is when you are taking part in it.

I've seen it from all factions. I don't take it as a sign that any particular faction's tactics are spawn camping bc an event is going on and PvP is full of not PvPers right now who don't know what they're doing and chasing event achievements.

Also, a few doing doesn't represent the whole faction.

Another thing that could explain it is, the Trove Scamp is buggy on the AD side, so I'm not surprised AD is camping scamp spots on red and blue side. Trove Scamp spawns are near faction bases.

One thing I've learned about this event is I'm spoiled. I'm so used to the Gray Host DC who actually knew how to put up siege, attack keeps, push back our foes, announced attacks in zone chat, and other such things. This event..... its a disaster and zone chat is almost quiet even at prime time. I'm so used to playing with good PVPers.
