Bolt escape not absorbing ballista

Has anyone else also noticed bolt escape not dodging ballista or is it due to ping and lag, i have tired many times to dodge balista with bolt escape even in duels but its not working and i have to roll doge to evade it finally , can anyone confirm this bug ?

I'm hoping that Ball of Lightning is one of the things that gets a major change in the upcoming PTS patch notes, since it's way too much of an easy-button against many builds. That said, it's possible that the Bow Ultimate is treated as a channeled ability rather than a projectile (does 1h/shield ultimate reflect it?)

Ballista is not a projectile. It is a channel. So it is not absorbed by Ball of Light. Same goes for other channels such as Vateshran Destro, Templar Beam etc. It is working as intended - not a bug.

vateshran destro and templar beam dont get affected by dodge roll but ballista does , so wont that be projectile as it is avoided by dodge roll?

It can be reflected as well; I would've thought it would absorb 1 tick from it

ya so this needs to be fixed please , will be glad if zos fixed both hardening ward on pets and bolt escape
