Send gold from one character to another?

I have an old character I started playing ESO with some time ago and wanted to send the gold he has (around 1700 - I am sure this is tiny for some people) to my new guy I am leveling. I tried sending in game mail but it said I can't send it to myself. Is there a way you can transfer gold from one character to another?

✭Put it into the bank with character one using the deposit currency tab.
Withdraw from bank with character two using the withdraw currency tab.
Its a shared bank account, so all characters have access to it, they don't have their own account.5 -
SpiritofESO✭✭✭Right -- all characters on the same account same the same Bank so there is no need to email gold or items.
