Bow/bow necro solo build?

I need advice.
I have no monster sets yet and I have not leveled Undaunted guild yet. No Psijik line too.
First, spammable, lethal arrow vs focused aim vs venom skull?
Second, Summoners Armor vs Elude vs Shuffle for damage mitigation? I dont think that Spirit Guardian only will help that much. I will look to level up Undaunted for their damage shield, and I still need something till that happens.
Race is Imperial, I wear some random heavy helm and shoulders to get more hp.
My sets are Briarheart and Hunding Rage. What monster sets would you recommend?

Hi if you have the DLC for bow best set in the game is Tzogvin's. Get Jewelry and main hand bow (of course with the new collections feature you want everything). For monster sets on bow right now depending on final set up a mixed set that gives 2 crit bonuses or 1 crit one damage works best. Slimecraw from Wayrest sewers 1 is a crit set and easy to get. Molag Kena or Velidreth are both DLC dungeons so collecting keys and buying shoulders from there will be your best bet for damage sets, and Grunwulf is another crit set that you can collect keys for and go for shoulders. For skills Lethal Arrow is only really good on bosses you will want to spam arrow spray for groups, it hits well and the extra poison damage melts trash.Poison Inject is not as good as it once was but provides a constant damage over time on bosses while you burn with endless hail and Lethal arrow. Also go get you Maelstrom bow if you have not already it will be a giant boost to damage. There are plenty of videos on how to do Maelstrom and you really only need to get the basic bow for all but top 1% end game running. Good luck hope you enjoy bow/bow, I have mained bow/bow stamsorc for 2 1/2 years and have run every class as bow/bow in game. You will never be the top end dps but can hold your own with the right gear and knowledge of trials, I have beaten every veteran trial and dungeon in game short of Markarth on bow/bow. Currently with Blackrose bow cheese on parse dummy my best is 91199 and 82.5k in VO and Tzogvins running parse food and actual dungeon skills, so don't let anyone tell you bow/bow can't be done :)

Thanks for advice!:) However, I will better keep Briarheart as main weapon and jewelry. I need that heals. Maelstorm for a backbar is must have.
Monster sets: Slimecraw - sounds useful, since Briarheart heals on crit. Or should I maybe get a monster set that will heal me instead? As stated in the title - it is solo build :D.
I will try to get Tzogvin and that I will wear it instead of Hundings.
I will not use Arrow Spray and Poison Injection, because we only have 10 skill slots, and I need skills for sustain and healing and to apply -phys resistance on target.

Is focused aim not good? In theory, it should be better then lethal arrow because of minor breach. Razor Caltrops with their major breach should stack with that or not?

My experience with using Snipe as a solo spammable is not good, because of the cast time. Too often I either get interrupted or should interrupt myself to block/dodge.

A spammable to consider is Silver Shards, at least for some fights, because it hits several targets at once.

The heal from Scythe has been important to me in a few fights.

Briarheart doesn't really heal for that much any more, especially in single target fights, especially since you're not using multi-hit melee skills like Rapid Strikes or templar Jabs.

Stormfist is a pretty good monster set that's pretty easy to get. Kragh is even easier if you're going to fight in melee range (which often you have to do when solo).

Ring of the Pale Order is an obvious choice when solo. Then both your 5-piece sets should be single-barrable, unless you want to give up a 5-piece bonus to use a Maelstrom bow. Also, if you build that way, you wind up with one armor slot for 1 piece of a set that you could choose to use on Trainee jewelry.

I like Snipe, actually :D Somehow it easier for me to weave with LA plus it hits like a truck.
Yes, Briarheart is mostly useful in trash fights.
    Is Fungal Grotto easy dungeon?

Most would say (me included) that Fungal Grotto 1 is the easiest of all dungeons and is often recommended for a first dungeon to try and conquer solo.

I have four pure archers (no necros though). My fave is my bowsorc. Though I use very simple gear (Hundings + Spriggans + Slimecraw) she can solo about 8 normal group dungeons and most alliance zone WBs. I am toying with trading Hundings out for Toothrow though to gain full time major savagery (boost crit%). My skill bars are too full to slot Expert Hunter for that. And like my other sets, Toothrow is reasonably accessible (I can solo Wayrest 1 to get it).

You want swamp raider, an overland set in Shadowfen...600 to poison/disease damage.

Then add any set you want...morag tong: 10% poison/disease, Hundings, Briarheart, Leviathan.

Blastbones, Detonating Siphon, Poison Injection, Snipe, all poison damage. Snipe weaves well with Blastbones.

If you're intending to use Snipe I'd recommend maybe looking into the Vateshran Bow. It pairs well with the Necro's Beckoning Armor skill -- I put together a build with it:

    https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/557692/poison-disease-themed-necromancer-combat-archer-plague-slinger-pestilent-host-and-vateshran-bow#latest

You could always switch out 1 of the 5 piece sets like Pestilent Host in exchange for Pale Order and Monster Sets for more survival.

    hi there,

I play solo bow/bow stamcro with following build >

    relequeen(or briarheart) full medium body
leviathan (or tzogvin) 2pcs jewelry + weapon frontbar + shoulder medium
slimecraw medium head (for crit bonus)
    maelstrom bow backbar
    Ring of Pale Order

    - you can use hundings instead of briarheart, because of briarhearts cooldown you will get fast the same results
    - healing from briarheart is not worth slotting it if yopu have access to pale order ring

For some runs I am using funky build with leviathan and ravager :) , but you need to slot razor caltrops for ravager uptime. Also ravager you have to use in combination jewelry plus weapon plus one piece of armor (ravager is heavy armor set)...

For bow/bow build ypu have to build for crit chance, so leviathan or tzogvin is the way.... Then you can use briar, rele, vicious set as damage dealer or sustain set... Jewelry you want to have one or two bloodthirsty (because with necro passives you get some additional crit chance when target is under 25% health)....
Also do not forget about using lava foot and saltrice as food and for solo game you have to target the 19K health to not get oneshot from every second boss :)

I never use Summoners Armor, only using the Spirit Guardian (mostly for sustain boost) and Pale Order RING is a generaly your best choice...

Briarheart seems to be triggered by AoE DoTs, such as Endless Hail, by the way.

How much penetration to i need for endgame? I have lover mundus stone, razor caltrops, I can put over 50 points in piercing CP star when I hit 810 (have 23 in it right now, CP 300 setup). I can buy Night Mothers Gaze and I am not sure if I should wear it instead of hundings right now.

Also I have put away summoners armor and I use consuming trap for sustain instead. Was playing with camouflaged hunter, but there are actually potions for it (and I can craft them too), so I just took poison arrow instead. 3% weapon damage increase from passive for slotting fighter guild ability was imho not worth it, poison arrow with hawk eye seem to be more damaging.
