Housing Bug -- Sun Always Reflects Off Water, Even if Blocked by Objects

In housing, the sun ALWAYS reflects off the surface of water, even if you have placed objects to block the sun. This happens with all water -- ponds and oceans.

✭✭✭✭✭Similarly, light from the windows also passes through most (all?) objects and many walls fail to block light from furnishings. Several months ago, I experimented with increasing shadow complexity to see if this would make walls and other objects recognized (so that they block light), but it did not. If anyone has been able to fix this in settings or can recommend flat furnishings which do block light, I would greatly appreciate the information!0 -

✭✭✭✭I believe that this behavior is a feature of the game engine and how light is rendered with regard to objects, I do not think there is any way around it.
On the good side, it enables you to see Psijic portals when they are on the other side of a big rock and you do not miss them, lol!
