So not sure if this is a general discussion topic or not, but it’s an idea for the devs

Skip ahead for new ability concept functionality/ stats
The vampire while I really like the changes they have made(and abilities added) you gave us an ability which functions like a claw attack and costs magicka(unless morphed) but your using essentials a melee attack to do this and only one other ability in the game(that I can think of, dragon knight claw attack)
So why not change evicerate to be a toggle and replace light and heavy attacks. the damage you do would be modified by the ability, but based on the stats of your weapons
-Eviscerate (version 1)
Consumes x amount of magicka per light attack to strike an enemy dealing x magic damage and restoring x stamina
(Heavy attack replacer) Consume x amount of magicka when held to strike an enemy three times dealing x magic damage and restoring x stamina 25% chance to restore x health
(Slotted bonus: makes light attacks 50% faster)
(Deactivation upon insufficient resources)
Morph 1:
Heavy attacks are now guaranteed to restore health, but only light attacks restore stamina
Slotted bonus now doubles the speed of light attacks, but at a 50% increased cost per light attack
Morph 2
Consumes stamina per hit dealing physical damage, and heavy attacks apply a poison tick on final hit dealing x poison damage per second for 6 seconds can only be applied every 6 seconds (per target basis)
-Eviscerate(no cost variant like phsijic heal)
Description:
light attacks strike an enemy dealing x magic damage and restoring x magicka
(Heavy attack replacer) when held to strike an enemy three times dealing x magic damage and restoring x magicka

Reasoning makes vamp spam Stan and magic friendly, the vampire lord in Skyrim had claws which Harkon always made a big deal about so why can’t we use them more? And while the current eviscerate isn’t bad, it doesn’t really feel like the best fit to me. The slotted bonus isn’t necessary, but the mend wounds ability has it and I think there should be a combat version of a melee override ability(and I mean a non class locked ultimate) this would also be the closest thing to brawling unarmed combat(visually anyway) in the game which would acquire able on all characters
I personally think the no cost variant would be better, as is since it would do physical damage and restore stamina, not deal magic and restore stamina, but this gives vamps a good spam that is also useful for stamina users. And from a balancing perspective I’m looking at this from a pave aspect and fun factor to make vamps feel more immersive, but it would probably have nerfed stats in pvp
